Warrior High is the new show offering from MTV India. The backdrop of the show is school campus where students’ life interwoven with friendships, rivalry, love, and luck are shown. The plot is centred on students – Abhishek, Parth, Siyali, Utkarsh, Vibha, Niti and their journey. Another important character is that of a teacher portrayed by Anupriya Kapoor. The college has a disciplined head who has high aspirations from her college – dreams, legacy, culture and discipline and also students. She expects students to show respect to other fellow students and also win respect. But in reality that is not the case since frequent fight, bouts usually happen. Moreover, alongwith talent, hardwork and yearning to learn are also of prime importance. But there is a contrast here as well as some students instead of learning are in day-dreaming mode and for instance Utarksh dreaming of another school girl and thinks her as an angel. The head believes the heart of the school is students and calls them winners and warriors.

The interplay of students’ lives who are not perfect with the school’s aspirations on one side. And on the other front, elements of love, rivarly, competitions and more importantly lessons learnt and experiences one would go through in their first high school experience. Most of the characters on the show are named after Kaisi Yeh Yaarian actors’. The show starts from 16th February and telecasts Monday to Friday @ 7 PM on MTV India.

* Role of young teacher Vibha is portrayed by actress Anupriya Kapoor
– Anupriya was born on 26 November 1991 and is orginally from Punjab and have lived in Delhi and Mumbai. She did her graduation study in Political Science from Delhi University.
– Debut with Star One’s Miley Jab Hum Tum and portayed the role of Suhaani Shergill [2010]; Worked in Sony Tv’s show Seven, and Star One’s Ssshhh… Phir Koi Hai [2010].
– Popularly known for her portrayal of Taani in Star Plus’s show Tere Liye [2010-2011] opposite actor Harshad Chopda.
– Also worked in Bindass’ Yeh Hai Aashiqui Episode 9 (Youtube Ep video) aired on 20th October 2013 in the role of Suman opposite actor Shakti Arora [2013] and Bindass Halla Bol – Acid Attack Fighter.

* School Head – Anusha’s portrayal is veteran actress Suhasini Mulay
– She also worked in Bollywood and Marathi films along with Television.
– Currently seen in Star Plus’s Everest in the role of Shikha Maa and Colors TV’s Udaan as Shakuntala – Baa.
– Won National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress in 1999, for her performance in Gulzar’s film Hu Tu Tu

* Abhishek is portrayed by actor Ashwini Koul
– Worked recently in Zing TV’s PTKK Episode.
