Disha Parmar, the chubby and pretty looking Pankhudi of Star Plus TV series Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara is an Indian television actress. Disha appeared in several print and commercial ads in Delhi. She then worked for a year in a Delhi-based company called Elite Model Management India Pvt. Ltd which held an audition for TV series Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara. She gave an audition and was selected to play the lead role of Pankudi Aditya Kumar opposite co-actor Nakuul Mehta as Aditya Kumar. Her character as a soft spoken, obedient and righteous by nature young girl with middle class values is well-received by the audience.
Disha won many awards for her role as Pankhudi including Indian Telly Awards Fresh New Face (Female), STAR Parivaar Awards Favourite Naya Sadasya, Big Star Entertainment Awards Entertainer of the year Female.
Disha was born on 11 November 1992 in Nagaon, Assam, India. She completed class 12 from Sadhu Vaswani International School for Girls. Currently, Disha lives in Mumbai with her parents and elder brother Gaurav Parmar.
