The voiceover speaks about the Arora family residing in Chembur area in the city Mumbai. They lead an ordinary life centered on two daughters – Pragya and Bulbul. The mother- Sarla Arora runs a marriage hall (named Kumkum Bhagya) who only wants to see her daughters happily married some day.

The daughters are the ones that bring shine to the family. Pragya is speaking with a friend who says her that she would have waited to find the right partner for her marriage as she could have got a much better guy. Pragya says like whom ?, the friend says that she was fast in her decision but she responds that he acted very late referring to him not expressing his feelings for her. Pragya speaks with her sister-Bulbul about how she thinks of her life partner. Both sisters are very different. Pragya is seen at her marriage speaking angrily with her to-be husband telling how much her mother love her daughters.

She is also seen speaking with Bulbul telling that she would rather wait for finding the right partner instead of agreeing to not so fruitful marriage. A rockstar -Abhi is seen (Shabbir Ahuwalia) entertaining the audience..The voiceover speaks that some times we don’t know how much a good friend can do for us. We don’t know how to give names to different relationships in our life and who is destined to settled with whom is also an intriguing aspect. Stay tuned to Kumkum Bhagya on Zee TV which starts tonight at 9 pm IST and runs at the same time from Monday to Friday.

– Shabbir Ahluwalia will be playing the role of a Rockstar – Abhi opposite Sriti.
– Supriya Raina Shukla is playing the concerned mother -Sarla Arora who looks for a prospective son-in-law.
– Faisal Rashid is playing the role of Suresh
– Khamoshiyaan Actress Mrunal will be playing Sriti’s younger sister-Bulbul in the show.
