1 dodgeball in Anupama seems unwanted in the plot. Anupama is hoping that Nakul will pick up her call tomorrow and clear any uncertainties she may have. After Anupama goes to sleep, Anuj accompanies her to the Gurukul and they both pray to Natraj for protection of Malti. Upon their arrival, a woman with servants approaches them and enquires who they were; Anupama then explains that she would like to meet Malti Devi. However, the lady claims she didn’t work at the Gurukul and has simply gone there to take some possessions. Anupama then gives a prolonged explanation regarding the identity of Malti.

Anupama is furious and won’t let them take Natraj away. Anuj attempts to settle her down, but that changes when another woman enters the scene. She questions what was happening there and Anupama enquires as to where Malti had gone. The lady says she had left already, and Anupama asserts that she was very certain it was Malti whom they had encountered close to the temple. Anuj tries to soothe her again, handing the woman his card and requesting her to notify them in case they find out any information about Malti. The woman says she would and then takes the idol with her.

Nakul calls back Anu wanting to know why he didn’t answer, where he and Malti were, and what was occurring at the moment. He tells her he had taken over Gurukul and implores her to join him; to which Anupama yells out how he could betray Gurumaa like this – asking why would she be in support of him. He disconnects without giving a reply. Anuj informs Anupama that they are unable to alter anyone’s destiny, and Malti is reaping the consequences of her actions. Anupama states she is the same Malti who had treated her so well when she was downcast. She then notices Malti meandering near the temple.
