Giriraj gets a call from the CM, who is upset that Adi cheated on his wife and demands Adi’s resignation to avoid damaging the party’s reputation. Giriraj is distressed, and Adi reluctantly signs the resignation, reflecting on past times before encountering Kavya at work. Kavya ignores him despite his pleas for attention.
At home, Kavya and Alka discuss baby names, with Kavya rejecting the name “Aditya” suggested by Alka. Adi insists on being part of the baby’s life, apologizing and pleading for the conflict to end. Kavya confronts Adi about his affair with Anubha, expressing her anger and distrust. Adi tries to justify his actions as a moment of weakness due to tension in their relationship. Kavya, however, dismisses his excuses, emphasizing the betrayal of trust.
Adi argues that Kavya also hid things from him, causing his feelings of inferiority and leading to his mistake. He believes they can still repair their relationship, but Kavya declares their relationship over, feeling that loving and marrying him was a mistake. Kavya pushes Adi away, her eyes blazing with anger. She demands to know if he thinks one moment of madness justifies breaking her trust.
Adi, tears forming in his eyes, shakes his head. He explains that he knows he has made a terrible mistake, but it wasn’t because he stopped loving her. He attributes his actions to weakness and the tension between them, pleading with her to believe him. Kavya scoffs, crossing her arms. She questions how she can believe anything he says now, emphasizing that it isn’t just about a kiss, but about shattering their faith and bond. She asks if he even understands how deeply he has hurt her.
Adi steps closer, desperate, urging her to vent her anger on him and not keep it inside, insisting it’s not good for her or their baby. Kavya laughs bitterly, asking where this concern was when he was with Anubha. She points out that he didn’t think about her or their baby then. Adi pleads with her not to say that, reminding her that they’re about to become parents and can’t let this mistake ruin everything. He asks her to try to work through it.
Kavya’s expression hardens as she tells him she can’t trust him anymore and can’t forget what he did. She declares that she isn’t suitable for him and that their relationship is over. She leaves, and at the office, she experiences stomach pain after drinking tea provided by a peon.
