Maati Se Bandhi Dor 25th October 2024 Written Update Ranvijay’s madness. Vasundara expresses her wish to hold a Suhaagan puja (a ceremony for married women) and a meal for the factory workers. Ranvijay initially questions the necessity of this, given the workload, but Vaiju subtly signals him to agree for Jaya’s sake. Ranvijay consents, and Jaya observes the interaction.
The next morning, Ranvijay and Vaiju prepare for the puja. Sulekha points out that the puja is specifically for married women, so Vaiju shouldn’t be participating. Jaya arrives, dressed for the occasion, and receives a compliment from Vaiju. The family performs the puja together, and during this time, Ranvijay feels sympathy for Vaiju, as she’s unable to partake in the rituals fully due to their complicated relationship. He steps away, and Jaya follows, asking why he left. She notices a sindoor (vermilion) box in his pocket, a symbol of marriage, and dismisses its significance, saying she doesn’t need it. Vaiju insists that a married woman should always have sindoor, and Vasundara supports this notion, praising Ranvijay for his thoughtfulness. Jaya, however, is left wondering why Ranvijay isn’t more vocal about his feelings. Vaiju becomes emotional as well.
Later, Ranvijay meets Vaiju privately and offers her the sindoor box, acknowledging that he knows how much it means to her. Although hesitant, she finally accepts it to avoid causing further problems. She encourages him to go downstairs as everyone is waiting, reminding him of his promise to keep things harmonious. Ranvijay confesses that seeing her without sindoor pains him, and Vaiju smiles as she holds the sindoor.
As the family gathers for the meal, Vasundara compliments Jaya on her appearance, while Ranvijay is captivated by Vaiju in her blue saree. Vasundara notes Jaya’s beauty, and Ranvijay agrees, though he’s clearly affected by Vaiju’s presence. As they proceed, Ranvijay notices that Vaiju hasn’t applied the sindoor, which puzzles him. Jaya calls out to him, and Vaiju accompanies her.
At the mill, Vasundara tells everyone that the puja is meant for the happiness of Ranvijay and Jaya. Kaveri arrives, despite her reluctance, out of respect for the ceremony’s purpose. However, Ranvijay confronts her, as he is still uneasy about her past behavior. Jaya urges him not to create a scene, and Vasundara reminds him to focus on the puja and forget old grievances.
Vasundara then assigns Vaiju the task of preparing the ceremonial offerings, or bhog. Ranvijay approaches Vaiju and questions why she hasn’t applied the sindoor. She responds hesitantly, worried about what she would say if anyone questioned her. Ranvijay suggests that she could either attribute it to a prayer or hide it under her hair, but she grows uncomfortable, reminding him that he never valued these traditions before. Despite this, he insists because he knows how important it is to her. Their conversation is interrupted by the manager, who informs Vaiju that the priest is asking for the offerings. Ranvijay reaches a breaking point, stating he can no longer keep up the deception and wants to reveal the truth. Vaiju, however, insists that they should not disrupt Jaya’s happiness. At that moment, Jaya overhears them and demands to know what truth Ranvijay intends to disclose.
