Jhanak 12th November 2024 Written Update Unwanted twist:
Arshi emotionally pleads with Anirudh not to leave her, asking him to feel her presence. She claims that while she may look like Arshi on the outside, deep inside, she is Jhanak, and he can sense Jhanak by touching her. Anirudh, overwhelmed by her words, holds her and confesses his love for Jhanak. Arshi, eager to convince him, repeats her declarations of love, insisting that she is the same person he loved before, now embodied in Jhanak’s form. She embraces him, urging him to accept her as Jhanak. Anirudh responds by reaffirming his love for her, and they share a deep, emotional hug. Arshi continues to claim that her identity as Jhanak is now deeply intertwined with her, and even though she may look like Arshi, she wants him to feel the essence of Jhanak in her. Anirudh, lost in the moment, imagines Jhanak when he holds her close, and the two grow physically closer.
The scene shifts to the morning, where Arshi wakes up and finds Anirudh peacefully sleeping beside her. She smiles, content with the situation. Soon after, Vinayak visits to meet Jhanak, which catches her by surprise. She tries to excuse herself, but he insists she calls him “Kaka” (uncle), putting her at ease. Jhanak, still processing her feelings of guilt, lets him in. Vinayak inquires if Brijbhushan is home, and Jhanak confirms that he is. She leads him to Brij, who asks about the purpose of the visit. Vinayak mentions he has something important to discuss and requests a cup of tea from Jhanak.
After Jhanak leaves to prepare the tea, Vinayak confides in Brijbhushan, explaining that he has come seeking his help to resolve a personal issue. He begins by mentioning that Brij once had a family, prompting Brij to ask who had shared that information. Vinayak continues, revealing that he too is burdened by a deep pain similar to Brij’s, hinting at a connection with Shrishti, Brij’s former student. Brij, though a little wary, acknowledges that he had many students, but when Vinayak presses further, asking about Nutan’s mother, Brij’s response is tinged with sadness, confirming that Nutan’s mother has passed away.
Vinayak, undeterred, continues, revealing that his marriage occurred 25 years ago, built upon a foundation of lies. He asks Brij for help, suggesting that Brij might understand the kind of pain he is experiencing. Brij listens, now curious about the deeper layers of Vinayak’s distress. Jhanak returns with the tea.
Brij responds to Vinayak’s question by asking why he would want to hear about his life, to which Vinayak cautiously replies that it might upset him. As Jhanak excuses herself to leave, Vinayak seizes the opportunity to continue speaking, telling Brij that he can no longer hide from these matters. He reveals that he wants to share something that Brij may already know. Brij, intrigued but also cautious, asks him to elaborate.
Vinayak begins his story, explaining that he was once madly in love with a girl, and the two had a child together. However, the girl left him, saying she was heading to Delhi to join a dance workshop that would benefit her career. She returned after a year, and though they occasionally communicated, Vinayak believed she had returned with new life lessons, particularly about her dance career. At this point, Brij, somewhat puzzled, interrupts, asking why Vinayak is telling him this story.
Vinayak presses on, stating that no one knows Shrishti better than Brij, and he has an important question about Jhanak. He asks if Brij is Jhanak’s father. Brij, visibly surprised and slightly defensive, responds by stating that Jhanak is dead and that the girl Vinayak is referring to is actually Nutan. Vinayak, however, isn’t convinced by Brij’s explanation. He challenges Brij, claiming that this story doesn’t apply to him and suggesting that Shrishti is well aware of the truth. Vinayak asserts that Shrishti knows everything—she knows that Nutan is actually Jhanak.
Vinayak, continuing to reveal the truth, presents a picture to Brij and Jhanak, which shows Shrishti, Brij, and a baby. Brij immediately identifies the child in the photo as Arshi, but Vinayak disagrees, insisting that the baby in the photo is actually Jhanak. He goes on to clarify that he did not come to harm Brij or anyone else, but instead, he wants to confront the truth and bring justice to their shared history. Vinayak admits that when Jhanak had once called him “Kaka,” he had been deeply upset upon hearing about her death, but now, after seeing the picture, he understands that her passing may have been for the best.
Brij, still skeptical, tries to deflect the conversation by stating that he has come to the meeting with a hidden agenda. But Vinayak reveals his personal pain, explaining how Shrishti has deceived him for the past 25 years. He confesses that Shrishti only loved him for his status and wealth, and she harbored a deep resentment towards his family. Vinayak describes how, before his success, he was poor, and when he began to rise in the world, Shrishti manipulated him into severing ties with his family. He also accuses her of not providing a proper upbringing for Arshi, although he adds that Arshi is not as cunning or dangerous as Shrishti.
Vinayak then reveals that he plans to expose Shrishti for her deceit during an anniversary event. He sees this as a major opportunity to unmask her for the manipulative person she truly is, and he believes that revealing the truth will be the greatest gift for her. Brij, unconvinced by Vinayak’s narrative, questions why anyone would believe his version of events. In response, Vinayak confidently asserts that it doesn’t matter if people believe him—what’s important is that he and Jhanak will be there to stand by him. He looks to Jhanak for support, asking if she is willing to help him bring the truth to light.
