GHKKPM 6th January 2025 Written Update Today. Rajat, in a display of devotion that could only be described as extra, climbs the temple steps on his knees, praying fervently for Savi’s quick recovery. The poor guy is literally bleeding from his knees, but hey, who needs self-care when you’re busy praying for someone’s well-being, right? As he hobbles up, no doubt leaving a trail of blood, he reminisces about all the times Savi has supported him—talk about trying to earn brownie points after some major screw-ups. Reaching the temple, he ties a sacred thread (dhaga) and heads to the hospital with the kind of determination that screams, “I might be physically wrecked, but I’ll sacrifice my knees if it saves her.” When he gets to the hospital, he insists the nurse tie the dhaga to Savi, despite his obvious injuries. The nurse, playing the voice of reason, tries to get him first aid, but Rajat, too busy playing the martyr, dismisses her concern with an attitude that says, “I’m too busy saving the day.”

Reluctantly, the nurse agrees and ties the dhaga to Savi. Meanwhile, her vitals begin to fluctuate, and the nurse alerts the doctor. The doctor rushes in, looking like they’ve seen too many soap-opera emergencies, and prepares the defibrillator—because nothing says “we’re in trouble” like a shock to the heart. Rajat, believing his prayers are futile, looks like he’s ready to cry rivers. And then, like magic, Savi’s vitals stabilize. Enter Sai, who arrives at the hospital like a concerned lioness ready to pounce. She sees Rajat’s injuries and immediately asks if he really went to the temple and tied the dhaga. When he admits it, she looks at him like, “Seriously? You’re bleeding out, and this is your grand gesture?” The rest of the family notices his condition, but Rajat, who’s now competing for the “Most Self-Sacrificing” award, refuses to get treated. The nurse, probably rolling her eyes in frustration, asks again, but Rajat insists that the pain he caused Savi is far worse. Yeah, Rajat, we get it—you’re the martyr of the season.

Later, Savi regains consciousness, and the family gathers around her. Of course, Isha takes the opportunity to scold her for neglecting her health—because what’s a family reunion without a little drama? Meanwhile, Mrunmayi hands over medical files to Shantanu but admits she couldn’t find Savi’s specific file. Shantanu asks Rajat to take a look, and lo and behold, Rajat uncovers a massive bombshell: Savi had been shot in the past. Talk about a big reveal. Shantanu then spills the tea, revealing Savi’s tragic history of losing her love, Ishaan, and how love apparently never works out in her favor. Rajat, full of guilt now, realizes how much damage he’s done, and suddenly his previous “hero” act seems a bit… insufficient, huh? He reflects on how Savi never even shared her dream of becoming an IAS officer with him, adding another layer of regret. Rajat, it’s like you were on a one-man redemption tour, but guess what? Savi was dealing with her own painful baggage that you never knew about, and now you’re feeling guilty about all the times you messed up. Go ahead, add some more emotional weight to that burden.

In all, this episode serves up some drama with a side of Rajat’s self-inflicted suffering, while also tossing in a sprinkle of guilt and a big emotional punch. Rajat’s struggle to redeem himself for his past mistakes is both cringey and somewhat commendable. But honestly, after all that knee-bashing and self-sacrifice, the real question is—does his self-imposed martyrdom actually fix anything?
