Keh Doon Tumhein 16th September 2023 Written Update Vikrant’s new crime. Kirti prepares for her interview. Sudhakar and Dadi are in the midst of a dispute, however, Kirti does not let this bother her and informs them that she is going for her interview. Vikrant expresses his gratitude towards her and says he will talk to the principal, although Kirti insists she will take it on her talent without any cheating involved. She enquires if Vikrant had eaten the halwa made with jaggery as she had intended, which leads him to become a fan of hers out of preference. After expressing thanks for his compliments, Kirti leaves for her scheduled appointment. He believes that the other girls want something from him, but Kirti is different so he cannot kill her.

He then contacts Ganesh, the Carpenter to install netting on his windows. The principal inquires whether Kirti has any prior experience working in a library; she answers in the negative. The man sarcastically chides her for this, but the principal responds by remarking that having Vikrant as a sponsor is more important than experience. Kirti quickly interjects that she loves books and wishes to work in a library, citing that she had read all of Malhar’s poems.

The man questions her and she responds by saying that she will do her online research to recommend the books to the students. The Principal remarks that she is intelligent and Kirti confirms yes, that it’s a promise to not give him a chance to complain. Kirti assures him that she will learn fast, stating that they will both be keeping an eye on each other while also being happy with the job. The man gets creepy but she handles him efficiently by her wit. She starts laughing and remarks that some people find joy in work while others come to work in search of it; she falls in the former group, so her work ethic shouldn’t be a cause for concern. Suddenly she gets a call and a hush falls over her as she answers. She announces gleefully afterward that she’s been offered the job. Madhuri has nothing but congratulations for her.

Ganesh questions Vikrant where to hang the net. Vikrant replies they should place it over all windows, remarking that people often come inside to steal without punishment being given, to which Ganesh affirms in agreement. Lastly, Vikrant puts his gold chain in the drawer, clumsily forgetting he had left it there earlier. Kirti spots Vikrant in the school and gives him a warm greeting. He congratulates her on getting the job, to which she responds with gratitude, saying it was all because of his help. He maintains that she got the job due to her abilities and Kirti concedes that most students don’t bother visiting libraries, as everything is online these days.

Vikrant agrees, saying that understanding the value of education cannot be done without a love for books. He then addresses his chemistry lesson class and informs them they won’t have theory class today; they should instead visit the library where Kirti will assist them in writing up research papers. As an added measure, Vikrant decides to check the library’s CCTV footage to ensure cell phones aren’t used during this assignment. He wishes them all luck and Kirti thanks him once again before he leaves.

Ganesh sprints off. Bittu contacts Vikrant to let him know Ganesh is getting ready to flee back to his village. He gives him a lift in the taxi and encourages him to make haste. Bittu abruptly halts the car and Ganesh inquires why. Ganesh steps out, and when he encounters Vikrant, it’s apparent that he has forgotten the net sample. Quickly figuring out the blunder, Vikrant teasingly states it seems like he committed theft. Scared, Ganesh begs that they don’t involve the police. Intrigued by this request, Vikrant questions what it could be. Ganesh gets kidnapped.
