1 unfair allegation in Anupama leaves Anuj heartbroken. Vanraj shocks Anupama with the revelation that Anuj is the true culprit behind Samar’s death. Anuj quickly defends himself, stating that he never meant for anything bad to happen and would have sacrificed his own life to protect Samar. However, Vanraj insists that it was Anuj’s idea to go to the bar, ultimately leading to this tragedy. Overwhelmed with guilt, Anuj kneels before Samar and apologizes for his actions. Dimpy and Paritosh inquire about the impact of a simple apology, while Vanraj orders Anuj to step away from his son’s body. Anuj gazes at Anupama, questioning if she has faith in him and his intentions to never harm Samar. However, Anupama remains unresponsive and averts her gaze.
In private, she weeps as Anuj sits outside and urges her to communicate to resolve their emotions. He expresses how he cannot bear to witness her silent suffering, but she remains tearfully silent. Alone and seeking understanding, Anuj approaches God and voices his complaint. He expresses how unjust it was that the bullet bore his name instead of Samar’s, and wonders how he can continue living with this knowledge. Kneeling before the temple, Anuj declares that a long life is meaningless without the happiness and joys that Samar’s life holds. Hasmukh joins him and urges Anuj to stand, reminding him that fate cannot be altered and those who are meant to leave will do so in due time.
Hasmukh reassures Anuj that dwelling on these thoughts will lead nowhere. Embracing Hasmukh, Anuj sobs uncontrollably while Hasmukh promises to handle Vanraj. However, he reminds Anuj that he must also tend to Anupama, who is struggling with her own grief. Dimpy is lost in thought in the dimly lit room when Samar enters. He reminds her that she has to keep going, not just for him, but for herself and their child as well. Dimpy expresses her inability to handle things alone, to which Samar responds by mentioning that he has left. He urges Dimpy to find the strength within herself to move forward.
As Anupama sobs, she uses her saree to muffle any sounds, trying to contain her emotional pain. Pakhi notices Samar, who playfully taunts her. Despite this, Pakhi expresses how much she misses him and urges him to return. Samar advises Pakhi to find the strength to move on and continue living, as there is a long journey ahead for her. Vanraj catches sight of Anupama standing by Samar’s photo, adorned with flowers. They then sit together in front of it, gazing at their son’s picture.
Anupama and Vanraj sit in front of Samar’s picture, while the rest of the family joins them. Leela sits beside Vanraj and urges him to contain his tears, reminding him that excessive crying could make him sick. Vanraj responds by telling Leela to also think about her own health and that of Hasmukh. This causes Leela to fall silent, leaning on Vanraj’s shoulder for support. As Kinjal leads Dimpy downstairs, she notices that she no longer has a sindoor on her forehead or a mangalsutra around her neck, which causes pain to those around them as they make their way to the mourning area. With a blank expression, Dimpy sits and holds her stomach where Samar’s unborn child resides, the only remaining symbol of his existence. When Anuj arrives, a hush falls over the crowd and they glare at him with disdain, making him realize they still hold him responsible for Samar’s passing.
