Bhagya Lakshmi 23rd November 2023 Written Update Lakshmi’s fear. Rishi adores the childlike qualities of his beloved Lakshmi and vows to never leave her side. She is now his responsibility and he promises to always care for her. As he places a gentle kiss on her forehead, the full moon appears, heightening Rishi’s excitement as he has also fasted for Lakshmi. Their romantic moment is interrupted by the arrival of other family members, who witness their sweet gesture while breaking their fast. Lakshmi’s kind act impresses Neelam, who blesses her, but Karishma becomes jealous and believes that her plans have been ruined. She immediately calls Malishka and reveals everything happening at their house, causing Malishka great heartache.
In a fit of rage, she yells at Lakshmi and Rishi while Sonal tries to calm her down with false hope that Rishi still belongs to her. Upon learning that Lakshmi has fasted for Rishi, Malishka heads to his house in a fit of anger, ignoring the pleas of Sonal and Kiran. Meanwhile, Lakshmi is eagerly looking forward to celebrating her karwa chauth with Rishi, much to the admiration of Harleen. However, Karishma shows little interest in Lakshmi. Shalu and Bani pray for their sister’s bond with Rishi to remain strong forever. As Rishi can’t help but admire Lakshmi’s every move, Harleen remarks on the power of destiny as even after losing her memory, Lakshmi has kept her fast for Rishi.
Just then, Malishka arrives at the scene while Neelam lights a diya, causing Lakshmi to become afraid due to her fear of fire. However, Rishi notices her fear and becomes worried about her well-being. What will Lakshmi do now that she has seen the fire? Shalu tells everyone that the moon has just appeared in the sky. Lakshmi gets happy and jumps to express her joy. Rishi smiles seeing her. Dadi praises Lakshmi for observing the fast despite her mental condition. Lakshmi gets scared seeing the fire. Ayush confronts Malishka’s actions. She pretends innocence. He asks her not to act innocent because she knows what is he asking. Rishi tries to protect Lakshmi from fire. Rishi inquires about Lakshmi’s discomfort due to the prolonged hunger caused by her current condition. She replies with a description of feeling mice running in her stomach, prompting a light chuckle from Rishi. He reassures her that she will soon be able to eat. Neelam and Virendra arrive with Karishma, while Rishi advises Lakshmi to wait until the moon appears. Harleen suggests everyone sit down as the darkening sky hints at the moon’s imminent appearance. Rishi suggests Lakshmi silently counts to ten if she is becoming impatient, as the moon will likely show up by then. After starting to count out loud, Shalu points out the emerging moon before Lakshmi can continue counting in her head.
Upon the moon’s appearance, Lakshmi becomes excited and joins Rishi in a lively dance, bringing joy to Rishi, Ayush, Shalu, and Bani. Meanwhile, Neelam prepares the aarti thali and Rishi observes her lighting the fiery diya. Unfortunately, Lakshmi has a fear of fire which becomes evident when she accidentally drops the net plate that Rishi gave her to play with. In her distressed state, Lakshmi notices the flame in the diya and begins to run around while screaming in fear. As Neelam and Virendra begin their puja, Rishi takes Lakshmi away in an attempt to distract her from the fire.
Virendra immediately extinguishes the diya upon noticing Lakshmi’s fear, leaving Neelam and Rishi shocked. Neelam questions Virendra’s actions, to which he reassures her that Lakshmi’s well-being is his priority. After completing her rituals, Neelam explains to Lakshmi that the diya is used to worship God and will not harm her. This calms Lakshmi, who joins Rishi in performing the Karwa Chauth ritual, following Neelam’s lead. Upon seeing Lakshmi perform the Karwa Chauth ritual for Rishi, Malishka is taken aback. It is brought to her attention by Karishma that Lakshmi is only keeping the fast because of Malishka’s suggestion. After the ritual, Rishi goes to get food but Lakshmi insists he stays with her. Ayush brings them their meal.
Lakshmi denies any relation to Shalu and Bani and then requests Rishi for food, while also serving him some. The sight of Rishi and Lakshmi together brings joy to Ayush, Bani, and Shalu. This prompts Ayush to visit Malishka’s room and question her about instructing Lakshmi to fast while she is unwell. Clearly stating that Malishka is not welcome in their household anymore, Ayush tells her to stop visiting Rishi. Later on, Rishi takes care of Lakshmi by putting her to bed and introducing himself. However, Lakshmi expresses her preference for shorter names.
