Vaiju explains the circumstances in Jhumri Patan that led to their unexpected marriage and shares that she has severed all ties with him. Ragini reflects on how Vasundara had chosen Vaiju for Ranvijay, but destiny had brought Vaiju into their lives.

Vaiju steps forward to prevent the police from arresting Ranvijay, defending him while Ragini also supports Vaiju, claiming that she has already shared the truth with her. Vasundara, however, questions Ragini for withholding this information from her.
