Devyaani to be misunderstood by the family in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai

Akshara’s family invites Rajpanna and Devyaani for dinner as they want to give them a treat for their marriage. Akshara, Naitik, Bhabhimaa and everyone come along. They enjoy the get together and are about to leave. Maheshwari, Akshara’s grandmum stops Devyaani and gifts her a necklace as she has come to their house for the first time. Naksh taunts Devyaani and says you are accepting someone else’s thing, the necklace is Varsha’s used one which she is giving to you. Devyaani feels bad and returns the gift to Varsha. Everyone are shocked by this move of hers.

Akshara is upset as she feels this is an insult of her grandmum that Devyaani retunred the gift which was given to her by so much love and respect. Though Maheshwari does not feel bad and understands why Devyaani did this. She pacifies her family and supports Devyaani. Akshara talks to Bhabhimaa and they both get annoyed with Devyaani for spoiling their name. Akshara asks Devyaani to take the responsibility of the Maha Shivratri function at home. Devyaani straightly refuses and asks Akshara to do it as she does every year.

This makes Akshara and Bhabhimaa further upset. Akshara asks Devyaani to help her in the arrangements as she can’t do it alone being pregnant. Devyaani agrees but she does a major mistake in the function which leaves everyone shocked. Naitik and Devyaani’s differences are increasing. Will Akshara manage to make Naitik understand Devyaani?
