Yeh Hai Aashiqui – Disaster Mini Series – 3rd Story

The story is about Ameeta and Rudra. There are torrential rains and floods in Mumbai and Ameeta’s boyfriend Arshad gets drowned and dies because of floods. She speaks that sometimes life takes away things from us which are most dear to us. After searching for Arshad tirelessly, finally she finds his body and goes in a state of sadness with a feeling of misery.

Soon, she meets Rudra who recently came to the city and is also caught in the floods. After seeing her situation, he consoles and offers her support. Time passes by, and he comes closer to her emotionally, and then promises to bring lot of happiness in her life. After hearing Rudra’s words, she speaks with a heavy voice that nobody can take her Arshad’s place in her life and not even him.

In spite of her unparalleled love for Arshad, she was facing harsh circumstances and needed someone to emotionally support her in those tough times. Rudra after falling in love with her was trying to support in the times of her emotional distress state, and even she also drifted towards him and puts her trust on him. Will Ameeta accept Rudra’s sincere love ? How would Rudra provide emotional support to Ameeta and bring happiness back in her life ? How Rudra’s endearing love will make them a lovestruck couple even after facing the aftermath of Arshad’s loss and natural disasters like floods ? * Rudra is played by Actor Ali Merchant.
– Ali was born in Mumbai on December 13, 1984.
– Worked in the role of Bharat in Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki, Akshat in Amber Dhara, Rituraj in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hain (YRKKH).
– Contestant in Big Boss Season 4 (2010) and also a participant in cooking show Welcome on Life Ok (2013).

* Ameeta is played by Actress Ruchi Savarn, Ruchi is also a singer and dancer.
– She is currently working in the role of Devika in Sahara One’s Ghar Aaja Pardesi.

* PS: We have earlier referred Arshat as Ameeta’s son in the promo writeup. It was a mistake since Arshad was her boyfriend. We have just now corrected it after watching the episode.
