Ek Tha Raja, Ek Thi Rani, new show on Zee TV starring Drashti Dhami & Siddhant Karnick, starts 27th July 2015 – Promo 2

Ek Tha Raja, Ek Thi Rani, the new show offering from Zee TV going to kickstart in a week from now. The story is set in pre-independence era (around the year 1942) with theme on love, mystery, betrayal, compassion, and humility. Rana Indravardhan Deo, the young prince isn’t aware of all the mysteries, and ploys around him being set-up by royal highness – the queen (maharani) of the state.

Rana Indravardhan gets a chance meet-up with a bubbly yet shy and modest girl Gayatri Seth when she comes to his palace uncalled just to fetch her kite. She finds him very charming and full of grace during that meetup while he wonders how she reached the palace top without any inhibitions. Their so-called unknown bonding got extended after another meet-up some days after their first one. Around that time, prince Indravardhan was facing a big danger to his life with the conspiracy hatched by the queen. He got inquisite after finding Gayatri close to his royal fleet and stepped out from his sedan to meet her. Henceforth, he escaped the danger to his life thanks to Gayatri, and realizes the difference she made to his life.

Their chance meet-ups alongwith the elements of curiosity and unknown bond paved the way for their extraordinary love story amidst the interplay of mystery, fake presentation and double standards. Ek Tha Raja, Ek Thi Rani [ETR2] going to start from 27th July 2015 @ 9:30 PM IST [Mon to Sat], taking the timeslot of Qubool Hai. Qubool Hai in turn has been moved to 7:30 PM timeslot, and replaces Hello Pratibha. Stay tuned to ETR2.
