Keep immune high: Diabetic friendly fruits

Many Diabetics think it is unsafe to eat fruits that results in increasing their sugar levels. Being a diabetic doesn’t mean you should stop eating fruits. Diabetes is a chronic disease that occurs when the pancreas does not secrete enough insulin or when the cells of the body become resistant to insulin. In either case, the blood sugar cannot get into the cells for storage which then leads to serious complications. Fruits contain important nutrients like Vitamin C, Fibre, and antioxidants. Regular consumption of a variety of fruits and vegetables release the toxins from the body as well as reduce cancer and mortality risk.

Here are some diabetes-friendly fruits to manage your blood sugar:
