Migraine is the neurological condition affecting more than 1 person in 10. Some people experience only one or two attacks per year while others suffer on a weekly basis. An attack can last from 4 to 72 hours. Stress is the root cause of headache. Migraine is more than just a headache. Migraine is a complaint that is connected with a severe form of headache. Migraine attack often starts as a dull headache which then develops into a throbbing pain mostly on one side of the head. This pain can spread to the neck and shoulders. With Migraine attack, other symptoms can also occur with nausea, vomiting and hyper sensitivity to sound, bright light and even smell. In some patients, Migraine attack begins with an Aura, that is the generic term for a number of neurological symptoms such as flashing light, hallucinations or other sight disorders but also sensation disorders, paralysis symptoms or speech disorders. The Aura usually disappears before the headache occurs or sometimes it merges with it. Migraine relief may look like a big task, but it can be controlled with ease.

Migraine is mostly occurred in young people and women. Migraine problem can arise when specific factors or event arise, such factor is known as Trigger. Triggers may be type of food or environmental factors. There are various ways to treat migraine by taking into consideration the seriousness of disease, patient’s lifestyle and eating habits.

Home remedies to treat Migraine:
1. Take half cup of spinach juice and add a cup of carrot juice. Mix well and drink.
2. Take a quarter cup of cucumber juice and add a quarter cup of beetroot juice and finally add quarter cup of carrot juice. Stir well and drink to get relief from migraine.
3. Peel off Lemon skin and make a lemon paste. Apply the paste on the forehead for instant relief.
