Kasautii Zindagii Kay: The story of two lovers, Anurag Basu and Prerna Sharma is soon going to begin. They will be passing through many tests to prove their love. Anurag and Prerna’s love story will be premiering tonight. Their incomplete love tale is one of the beautiful stories of all times. Anurag and Prerna are childhood friends, who are destined to meet. They are poles apart. Prerna always gets late in meeting the tasks, while Anurag is a disciplined man. He does everything on time and values time a lot. He believes that if a person doesn’t value time, time stops valuing that person. Anurag does the puja arrangements. Prerna reaches Anurag on time and does the Durga puja Aarti with him. They have cute moments of friendship. Their fathers like them as a couple and decide to get them married. Anurag and Prerna accept their fate. They fall in love and get bonded, but aren’t aware that destiny will separate them forever.

They both stay shy about their relation. Their fate has their union, but many hurdles come in their way. Mohini doesn’t want her son Anurag to marry a middle class girl like Prerna. She is upset with Moloy’s friendship with Prerna’s poor family. Moloy wants to make his friendship more strong by turning it in to a relationship. Mohini wants a one in a million girl for Anurag, who is high in beauty and status, unlike the simpleton Prerna. Mohini becomes the villain in the tale, and breaks Prerna and Anurag’s marriage alliance. Komolika enters the story to wipe off the destiny of the lovers.
