Dastaan-E-Mohabbat: Maanbai to oppose Anarkali

Dastaan-E-Mohabbat: Salim wants to marry Anarkali at any cost. Anarkali refuses to his marriage proposal and reminds him Jodha’s words that he need to agree to Maanbai’s alliance for the sake of protecting Agra. She tells him that two states can’t suffer because of their love. Salim gets hell bent to win her love. She makes him swear that he won’t go against Akbar’s decision. Salim gets bounded by her promise. He vows to Anarkali that he will comply with Akbar’s decision for the betterment of the country. Salim makes the big sacrifice just on Anarkali’s saying. Rukaiya can’t see Salim happily accepting Akbar’s decision. She wonders how did Salim agree to marry Maanbai.

Rukaiya finds a way to break Maanbai’s happiness. She tells Maanbai that even when Maanbai becomes Salim’s wife, she won’t be winning his love. Rukaiya’s taunts get on opening Maanbai’s eyes. Maanbai wishes to know whom does Salim love. Rukaiya reveals to her that Salim is in love with the ordinary maid Anarkali, who works in their palace. Rukaiya presents an evidence of her truth by showing Anarkali’s portrait made by Salim. Maanbai goes fuming in anger over Salim and Anarkali’s love. Salim will be struck by Maanbai’s anger, while Anarkali gets suffering in the conspiracies of the royal family.
