Yeh Rishta Past regrets New Tension for Kaira Kartik and Naira take the injection for Kairav with much difficulty. Naira takes the shortcut and fights time. Pallavi injects Kairav and tells them that she made a mistake to break the important injection. She apologizes to them and tells them that she can’t guarantee if Kairav will gain consciousness and survive. Kartik and Naira shed tears on hearing that Kairav’s surgery doesn’t guarantee anything. Naira faints down in tension. Dadi rushes to the temple to pray for Kairav. She feels Kairav didn’t see his life yet. She is ready to die for Kairav’s sake. Kartik and entire family cry for Kairav.
Dadi wants Kairav to recover at any cost. Goenkas return home. Gayu tells them that Kartik and Naira are Kairav’s parents and got permitted to stay back in the hospital. She says no third person is allowed to stay in the hospital at night. Vedika is worried that Naira is with Kartik. She removes the garland from Naira’s picture. She cries in sorrow. Naira apologizes to Kartik. She wants to go to Kairav. Kartik tells her that doctor won’t allow her to meet Kairav as of now, since he is in ICU. Naira and Kartik share the pain.

Vedika sees the decorated room and feels she doesn’t deserve to be Kartik’s wife. She thinks all her dreams are shattered, she has become Kartik’s wife, but maybe she won’t get his love. She feels she won’t be part of Kartik’s life now. Kartik recalls how Kairav called him and saved his life. He tells Naira that Kairav has become his savior when he went to commit suicide. She tells Kartik that Kairav gave her a new life. She tells about the blast incident. She tells that she has just lived for her son. She feels she can’t live without Kairav. Kartik gets caring for Naira.
They both imagine Kairav happily spending time with them. They rush to Kairav and find him getting conscious. Being parents, they get too emotional and stay together in front of Kairav. Vedika gets upset seeing them together. Naira feels that Kartik is married to Vedika now. She gets upset as well. The new tension arises, that to sort out Kartik’s second marriage. Naira doesn’t want injustice to happen with Vedika. Kairav tells Naira that he wants Kartik and Goenka family as well. He wants the love of both his parents.
