Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke 16th October 2020 Finale twists Kuhu returns home from the hospital. Mishti tells the family that the baby is still at the hospital, since the baby is premature. Kuhu asks them not to worry, since the baby is delivered by his strong aunt. Meenakshi promises Varsha that she will keep both her Bahus like her daughters and love them a lot. Abir and Mishti decide that either of them will stay at the hospital until the baby comes home.
Abir stays at the hospital, while Mishti sends the tiffin for him. She doesn’t tell him that Meenakshi has prepared the food. Abir realizes this on having the food. He knows Meenakshi wants to apologize to him and sent food. Mishti wants Abir to forgive Meenakshi and share a good bond with him. Mishti tells Abir that she wants the baby to come home soon. He informs her that the baby isn’t doing fine.
Mishti rushes to the hospital while the family is worried. Kuhu tells them that the baby is special, since he has united the family. She tells that nothing will happen to the baby. Abir comes home and hugs Kunal emotionally. The family worries seeing him in tears. Mishti brings the baby home. Everyone celebrates the baby’s home coming. Abir tells them family that Kuhu has the first right on the baby. Kuhu and Kunal cherish the moment.

Abir doesn’t give the baby to Meenakshi. He lets everyone take the baby. The family is very happy. Mishti knows Abir is upset with Meenakshi. She gives the baby to Meenakshi. Meenakshi feels blessed. She is thankful to Kuhu for giving her a grandchild. Abir goes away. Mishti wants Abir and Meenakshi’s issues to end. Kuhu tells that they will keep a Dandiya night to celebrate the baby’s homecoming. She plans the grand function for the baby.
The baby falls in trouble. Meenakshi runs to rescue the baby and gets injured. Abir and Meenakshi’s issues will end with Meenakshi’s sacrifice. Abir’s heart melts for his mother seeing her injured. The show will have a happy ending with Abir and Mishti uniting with Meenakshi.
