Yeh Rishta 18th January 2022 Written Update Truth breaks out Abhimanyu tries calling Manjiri. He feels uneasy without her. A white sheet falls on him. He feels good with Akshara caressing him. Akshara asks Abhimanyu to hide from the world. Abhimanyu tells Akshara that he used to hide in sheets like this in childhood, whenever everyone shouted at his mother. He also tells Akshara that he also used to put on earphones with music to cut himself off from the world. Abhimanyu further tells Akshara that he used to get lost in his small world which was only his. He says there wasn’t any pain.
Akshara tells Abhimanyu that she knows it and came for him under a sheet. Abhimanyu smiles. Next Abhimanyu and Akshara are seen playing tic tac toe under the sheet with heart shapes. Akshara wins and Abhimanyu draws a smile. They also play “cat’s cradle” and “chidiya udd” games inside the sheet. Both of them hold each other’s hands and spend a good, beautiful and romantic time with each other under the sheet. Abhimanyu sleeps and his beautiful dream ends. Neil thinks that he isn’t able to do anything for Abhimanyu and Manjiri who gave him a reason to live in the past. He thinks about doing something.
Harshvardhan asks Neil why he isn’t helping in marriage preparations. He asks Neil if he has any objection with Abhimanyu and Aarohi’s marriage. Harshvardhan asks Neil to handle marriage preparations without any issues. Neil shocks Harshvardhan by saying that there will be issues in this marriage. Harshvardhan asks Parth to see what Neil is saying. Parth handles the matter. Harshvardhan asks Parth to make Neil understand to not behave like Abhimanyu and Manjiri, otherwise he would beat him. Parth asks Neil what’s the matter. Neil hugs Parth. Parth asks Neil to say if something is bothering him.
Nishtha says she knows what has happened. She tells Parth that Neil is feeling just how she felt after his marriage. Nishtha explains to Parth that Neil is scared that Abhimanyu will forget him or not love him after Aarohi’s arrival in their house. She asks Neil to not feel tense as Abhimanyu’s love for him will increase after Aarohi’s arrival. Neil thinks Aarohi’s arrival in Birla house will ruin everything and leaves. Parth feels that something else is making Neil worried. On the other hand, Akshara gets tensed on receiving Kairav’s video call. Kairav asks Akshara to ask Aarohi’s approval for her marriage decorations. Kairav asks Akshara if she and Aarohi didn’t reach the parlor till now.

Akshara lies to Kairav that she came to get gajra for Aarohi. Kairav tells Akshara that she could have asked them as they had staff and Reem’s whole team. Akshara again lies to Kairav that she was getting bored sitting in the parlor. She asks Kairav to take care of other arrangements till she comes back. Kairav again asks Akshara about Aarohi’s choice of decorations. Akshara recalls Aarohi’s words and tells Kairav that she doesn’t know what Aarohi likes. Kairav fails to hear Akshara’s words and disconnects the call. Akshara breathes heavily in tension. On the other hand, Aarohi thinks she would handle everything. She smirks thinking that Akshara won’t reveal her truth to anyone as everyone’s happiness, especially her happiness matters to Akshara a lot.
Aarohi tries to make herself believe that Akshara won’t ditch her ever. In the car, Akshara thinks about what she should do now. She drinks water to calm her nerves. On the other hand, Shefali reaches Birla house. Parth asks Shefali to meet Mahima as the latter is waiting since long for her. Shefali tells Parth that she saw Aarohi at the airport. Both of them wonder what Aarohi would be doing at Airport on her marriage day. Parth tells Shefali that maybe Aarohi would have gone to pick up some guests at Airport. Shefali asks Parth why would a bride herself go to pick up guests at Airport. She tells Parth that she feels something weird as she has seen Aarohi near the departure side of the Airport.
Shefali tells Parth that she saw Aarohi in a different body language at the airport. She further tells Parth that they should themselves go and see what Aarohi is doing at the airport. Parth tells Shefali that Aarohi would have boarded the flight till now. He asks Shefali to relax as she may have misunderstood the situation. Parth requests Shefali to meet Mahima and leaves. Neil overhears their conversation and gets shocked. Shefali feels worried thinking that it’s about Abhimanyu’s life and this matter concerns family too. At Goenka house, Goenkas walk here and there in preparation. Aarohi can be seen inside a taxi. Akshara thinks what will happen if Abhimanyu gets to know the truth.
Staff requests Abhimanyu to wake up but Abhimanyu refuses. Staff tells Abhimanyu that Harshvardhan ordered them to decorate his room. Abhimanyu sends them away. A woman asks Akshara what she is doing here as it’s her sister’s marriage. Akshara tells the woman that she came to pick up some guests. Akshara feels angry for lying again and again. She tries calling Aarohi and gets angry when the latter doesn’t pick up her calls. At Birla house, Abhimanyu wishes that Manjiri returns soon. He prays to God to give him some hint. Abhimanyu can be seen lying wrapped in a quilt like a scared child. Akshara receives Swarna’s call. Akshara’s lies to Swarna saying that they got stuck in the parlor as Aarohi’s blouse got a little tight.

Swarna cutely scolds Akshara and Aarohi for working on everything at the last minute. Kairav takes the phone and asks Akshara if he can pick her and Aarohi. Akshara refuses for Kairav’s help. Kairav asks Akshara if she is hiding something. He requests Akshara to share with him if something is off. Akshara disconnects the call saying that nothing is like what he is feeling. Akshara feels worried thinking what would happen now. On the other hand, Abhimanyu recalls his meetings with Aarohi and Akshara. Neil asks Akshara what she is doing here. Akshara gets scared and looks here and there. Neil asks Akshara to look back and she does so. He asks Akshara to look in front, she again does so.
Akshara asks Neil why can’t she see him if he is near her. Neil laughs and apologizes to Akshara for fooling her. He tells Akshara that he got to know that she is helping in Aarohi’s makeup at the airport. This shocks Akshara very badly. Akshara gets tensed when Neil disconnects her call. Neil gives the servant his phone back. He thinks enough has happened now. Neil stops seeing Harshvardhan in Abhimanyu’s room. Harshvardhan scolds Abhimanyu for tiring himself on the day of his marriage. He gets angry when Abhimanyu asks about Manjiri’s return. Harshvardhan makes Abhimanyu hear Manjiri’s voice note in which she asks Harshvardhan to get Abhimanyu ready in the groom’s outfit till she returns.
Harshvardhan asks Abhimanyu to at least follow Manjiri’s instructions otherwise her panic attacks and bp would rise. Abhimanyu wakes up. Harshvardhan asks Neil to get Abhimanyu ready. He warns Neil that he doesn’t want any issue in this marriage. Aarohi receives Akshara’s call and tells her that she is returning. Akshara receives Swarna’s message telling her that she and Suhasini would meet her and Aarohi in the parlor to get their hair ready. Swarna also wrote that she, Suhasini, Aarohi and Akshara will return home together. This increases Akshara’s tension. At Birla house, Neil throws Abhimanyu’s clothes here and there on the floor. He tells Abhimanyu that Aarohi is not the right girl for him.
Neil tells Abhimanyu that he will regret his whole life if he stays quiet today. He asks Abhimanyu to say something at least for his love. Neil doesn’t let Abhimanyu get ready for marriage. Abhimanyu pushes Neil aside. Aarohi’s lie proof photograph falls with other papers on the floor. Abhimanyu’s eyes go in the proof photograph’s direction. On the other hand, Akshara feels tense as Aarohi avoids her calls. She thinks what to do, should she hide the truth or expose lies. Akshara feels stuck. Abhimanyu picks up Aarohi’s lie proof photograph. He finally gets to know that not Aarohi but Akshara saved him from fire during the camp. Neil also gets shocked. Abhimanyu recalls how Aarohi took Akshara’s credit and everyone’s praises by lying.
In the next episode, Abhimanyu will run to Akshara’s house and enter her room secretly. He will ask Akshara to meet him at the sunset point. Abhimanyu will warn Akshara that he will do something unimaginable if she doesn’t turn up at the sunset point, till 4 pm. Akshara will get more worried and Abhimanyu will leave the Goenka house.
