Yeh Rishta 28th March 2022 Written Update Quirky Abhi Abhimanyu says he just wants to know whose car hit his mother and who left his mother behind to die. A person confidently tells Abhimanyu that soon he will bring Manjiri’s culprit in front of him. Aarohi overhears everything through her hiding and gets scared for herself. Abhimanyu thanks the person ready to help him. On the other hand, Anupama asks Anuj to focus on his work as she is very happy and attending Abhimanyu and Akshara’s engagement ceremony. She wishes for Akshara and Abhimanyu’s forever happiness.
Anupama tells Anupama that she enjoyed attending Abhimanyu and Akshara’s engagement ceremony a lot, but missed him too. Anuj tells Anupama that they will get married the same way. Anupama asks Anuj if they will really get married in a similar way. Harshvardhan overhears Anupama’s words and thinks if she is getting married at this age. Aarohi wishes that someone steals her car and sells all its parts. She thinks this way the whole matter of tension will end. Kairav receives a call and gets shocked. He takes Aarohi outside. Aarohi gets shocked seeing her car back and standing outside Goenka Mansion.
Kairav asks a person where he got this car from. The person tells Kairav that he got this car standing at a deserted place. He says maybe someone would have stolen the car and then ran away leaving it behind, seeing the police coming. Kairav thanks the person for bringing the car back. Aarohi tries to calm her fear. Abhimanyu and Akshara thanks Anupama for making their engagement ceremony special by attending it. They also thank Anupama for her blessings. Worried, Kairav and Akshara discuss if they should reveal the truth about engagement rings to everyone. Vansh asks Kairav to not reveal the truth as they have got the similar engagement rings ready.
Kairav tells Vansh that Akshara, Abhimanyu and Manjiri’s happiness is not in the similar rings that they got made. He says the similar rings don’t have Manjiri’s real feelings and blessings in them, which the real rings had. Vansh tells Kairav their truth may affect Abhimanyu and Akshara’s engagement. Everyone wonders what they should do as there is a lot of time left for Abhimanyu and Akshara’s engagement muhurat. Abhimanyu tells Akshara that Manjiri said something else also about engagement. Everyone asks Abhimanyu what Manjiri said. Abhimanyu says he and Akshara never go against Manjiri.
He says that Manjiri wished Akshara to sing both of their favorite songs, “Piya Tose Naina Laage Re”. Harshvardhan thinks how Manjiri can think of her favorite song being admitted in hospital too. Abhimanyu announces that a good dancer, Anupama will lend her support to Akshara by dancing while Akshara will sing. Anupama feels nervous but Abhimanyu encourages. He reveals to Anupama that he knows about her unique way and style of dancing. Abhimanyu also tells Anupama that he also saw her unique and great way of announcing her love and marriage through the viral video. Harshvardhan watches the viral video of Anupama announcing her marriage with Anuj and gets shocked.
Suhasini asks Anupama if she didn’t get married till now. Harshvardhan in a disgusting way says that Anupama is preparing for her second marriage. He says Anupama’s dance video has gone viral and the public is humiliating her in the comments section. Harshvardhan says they may also get defamed by Anupama’s presence in their family function. Anupama tells Harshvardhan that she can give him a befitting reply to him but doesn’t want to ruin Akshara and Abhimanyu’s special day. She seeks permission to leave the engagement ceremony. Harshvardhan rudely asks Anupama to leave.
Abhimanyu stops Anupama from leaving. He asks Harshvardhan why there is any problem, if Anuj and Anupama love each other. Abhimanyu also asks if it’s a crime if a woman wants to get married at this age. Akshara tells Harshvardhan that there is nothing wrong in it. Harshvardhan says everything has an age. He asks Anupama if her family is happy with her decision. Abhimanyu requests Harshvardhan to get quiet. Anupama says she didn’t wish to ruin Akshara and Abhimanyu’s special day earlier but now wants to fix Harshvardhan’s orthodox and wrong thinking. Anupama says her first marriage and children happened at the right age.
She asks what should a wife do when her husband cheats on her even when she sacrificed her whole life and dreams for her in-laws, husband and children. Anupama asks if a wife should keep getting suffocated in a wrong/deceiving marriage, keep being her husband’s footboard or should end her wrong/deceiving relationship with all her respect safe. She says even doctors cut and throw defective limbs from cancer patient’s bodies and asks why can’t a woman cut herself away from a deceiving relationship. Anupama explains that love has no age as it is the blessing of Radha Ji and Krishna Ji. She says Anuj and Anupama’s aged people can also fall in love if people of Akshara and Abhimanyu’s age can fall in love.
Akshara also tries to explain the right thing to Harshvardhan. Abhimanyu asks Harshvardhan if he doesn’t feel funny when a 70-year old man gets married and goes on a honeymoon. Anupama asks Abhimanyu to leave it. Manish speaks in Anupama’s favor and gives an example of his second marriage. He says that everyone needs a lovable and supporting life partner in every stage or phase of life. Abhimanyu and Akshara tell Anupama that she deserves all the happiness and has the right to make all the decisions of her own life. They ask her to enjoy her life ignoring orthodox society. Abhimanyu and Akshara promise Anupama that they will attend her and Anuj’s wedding and tell the whole world that happiness and love has no age.
Anupama thanks them. Harshvardhan thinks everyone is mad. Abhimanyu gives tissue paper to Anupama to wipe her and tears. Later, Akshara starts singing Manjiri’s favorite song, “Piya Tose Naina Laage Re ” and Anupama starts dancing to it. Akshara also joins Anupama in dancing. Abhimanyu gets mesmerized seeing Akshara’s performance. Anupama unites Abhimanyu and Akshara. Abhimanyu dances with both Anupama and Akshara. Everyone claps for all three people. Then Anupama, Abhimanyu and Akshara ward off evil eyes from each other. Suhasini announces engagement muhurat. She asks to bring engagement rings quickly.
This worries Vansh, Reem and Kairav. Aarohi gets determined and thinks that she will have to save herself anyhow as it’s about her whole life and career. Neil notices Aarohi and thinks why Aarohi is in tension. Suhasini asks Kairav to bring the engagement rings. Kairav reveals to everyone that the rings Manjiri chose for Abhimanyu and Akshara have got lost. This shocks and angers everyone. Abhimanyu asks Kairav which rings are kept in the boxes that are kept ready on the plate. Kairav reveals that they are the copy of the rings which he, Akshara and Manjiri chose. Vansh apologizes to Abhimanyu and Akshara.
Mahima and Harshvardhan taunt Goenkas. Abhimanyu asks Harshvardhan to get quiet. Manish gets angry with Vansh and Kairav. Akshara tells Manish that Vansh and Kairav may have not told anyone because they might not want to stress anyone. Abhimanyu and Akshara say that they are fine with the copy of engagement rings. Manish asks Abhimanyu to not let Kairav and Vansh escape from their mistakes. Abhimanyu says Vansh and Kairav didn’t do anything intentionally. Mahima says what about Manjiri’s desires. Abhimanyu and Suhasini ask everyone to leave the fight/argument and commence the engagement as an auspicious muhurat may end this way.
Akhilesh asks Vansh how all this happened. Vansh says he took a cab as his car broke down on the way. He says he failed to handle everything as he had a lot stuff with him. He says he doesn’t have the number of cabs he took randomly from the roadside in a hurry. Anupama shows the original rings to everyone. Everyone gets shocked Akshara asks Anupama how she got the original rings. Anupama says it’s destiny. She reveals that she and Anuj took the same cab which Vansh took. Anupama says Lord Krishna made her made attend Abhimanyu and Akshara’s engagement ceremony for this thing only. Vansh thanks Anupama and takes the rings from her.
Anupama asks Vansh to thank Lord Krishna as he did all this. Later, Akshara and Abhimanyu go on their knees. Akshara makes Abhimanyu wear the engagement ring. Everyone happily showers flower petals on the beautiful and cute couple. Later, Abhimanyu vanishes before putting the engagement ring in Akshara’s finger. Everyone gets shocked and surprised seeing Abhimanyu hanging upside down in front of Akshara. Harshvardhan doesn’t like this. Abhimanyu makes Akshara wear the engagement ring by hanging upside down. Everyone again showers flower petals on Abhimanyu and Akshara. Everyone smiles, including Harshvardhan.
Flashbacks of Abhimanyu and Akshara confessing their love to each other in similar ways is shown. Abhimanyu comes back to normal position and shows his and Akshara’s engagement rings worn in their hands to Manjiri. From the projector screen, Manjiri wards off evil eyes from Abhimanyu and Akshara. They walk down the stage and take everyone’s blessings. Anupama takes the leave asking Abhimanyu and Akshara to take care of each other. She also asks Manjiri to get well soon. Anupama congratulates and greets everyone before leaving. She says she will send Manjiri’s saree and jewelry back. Abhimanyu and Akshara once again excitedly show their worn engagement rings to Manjiri.
Manjiri emotionally signs All the best to the newly engaged couple. Everyone starts showering flowers on Abhimanyu and Akshara. Abhimanyu picks up Akshara in his arms and twirls her. Everyone else showers flower petals on the couple while dancing themselves circling around Abhimanyu and Akshara.
In the next episode, Manish will tell Goenkas that they will meet them tomorrow now. Harshvardhan will ask why. Manish will confusedly tell Harshvardhan that it’s holi tomorrow. Harshvardhan tells Goenkas that Birlas don’t like celebrating holi much. Abhimanyu and Akshara seem worried about holi plans of both families. Later, everyone will get shocked to see Neil and Abhimanyu playing holi in wet mud.
