Yeh Rishta Upsetting truth 5th April 2022 Upcoming Swarna tells Akshara that she will have to observe a fast, as it’s Panchpadi Ekdashi today. She also tells Akshara that Suhasini told her that she can break her fast only after having kheer prepared at her in-laws. Akshara asks Swarna if it’s really important to observe this fast. Swarna tells Akshara that it’s important to observe this fast as it brings good luck for the groom. She asks Akshara if she will keep this fast or not. Akshara tells Swarna that she can do anything for Abhimanyu. Everyone hears it and teases her.
Akshara says she knows about excess hunger during fasting but she will manage. She also says that hospital work will anyways keep her busy and distracted. Vansh asks Akshara if she will remain busy in work or Abhimanyu. Akshara requests Vansh to not tease her. Aarohi asks Akshara if they can go to work, if her talks about fasting, rituals, veneration and romance have finished. Manish says their Aarohi is just like some strict school principal. Kairav says their Aarohi is very serious about her work. Aarohi thinks that she will somehow handle Abhimanyu and Akshara’s wedding nuisance and hopes that Manjiri’s accident chapter gets closed forever.
On the other hand, Abhimanyu is seen with a Private investigator. He asks the investigator what he got to know about Manjiri’s accident and the culprit. Private investigator tells Abhimanyu that he didn’t get any clue even after watching a lot of footage of Manjiri’s accident. He says he couldn’t find the last vehicle that passed through Manjiri’s accident spot and may have also caused the accident too. Upset, Abhimanyu sees Akshara and Aarohi arriving at the hospital. Aarohi gives an angry glare to Abhimanyu and then leaves for her work. Akshara recalls revealing Abhimanyu about her and Aarohi’s accident.
Both Abhimanyu and Akshara give each other a smile and get busy with their work. Abhimanyu asks the private investigator to check the rest of the footage and inform him, in case he finds any leads. He says he will also inform if he finds any leads. Mahima gets irritated, when Manjiri informs that Swarna called and informed her about Akshara’s Panchpadi Ekadashi fast. Manjiri tells Mahima that Akshara can’t break her fast without eating kheer prepared at their home. She asks Mahima if she can come over to help her. Mahima tells Manjiri that she has more important work than these in the hospital. She asks Manjiri to ask Neil or Parth to do this. Mahima says Parth is expert in kitchen work and he doesn’t come to the hospital either.
Manjiri tells Mahima that it’s beyond Neil and Parth’s skills. She says she can prepare the Kheer herself too but Neil and Parth aren’t letting her enter the kitchen. Mahima tells Manjiri that Neil and Parth are doing the right thing as her health is more important than all this. She asks Manjiri to ask the staff to prepare the kheer. Manjiri replies that their cook is on leave today. Mahima asks Manjiri why she gave leave to cook today only. She irritatingly tells Manjiri that Goenkas rituals, Venerations and ceremonies are never ending. Mahima asks Manjiri if Goenkas doesn’t have anything else to do. Manjiri tells Mahima that they would have to fulfill all these customs if Goenkas follows them.
She says it for Abhimanyu’s good luck only. Mahima asks Manjiri to have her medicines on time and leave the kheer preparation work to her. At the same time, Mahima finds her patient missing from his/her ward and disconnects the call. She asks the ward about her patient. The ward tells Mahima that the patient has been shifted and some other doctor will treat him/her. Mahima asks which doctor madam will treat her patient. The ward boy tells Mahima that he doesn’t know much as he is new in the hospital staff. At Birla house, Manjiri says she is feeling bad that she herself can’t prepare kheer for her Akshu (Akshara).
Neil tells Manjiri that it’s fine as Mahima is coming and will prepare it. She says she is also feeling happy thinking that soon her daughter-in-law will be coming home. Manjiri says Akshara will take care of Abhimanyu, family and household responsibilities and moreover she will get her new companion. Parth jokingly tells Neil that Manjiri will forget them after Akshara’s arrival. Manjiri says their bonds will become stronger and sweet after Akshara’s arrival. She prays no more obstacles arrive in Akshara and Abhimanyu’s marriage. At the hospital, Akshara sings a song for Abhimanyu and his patients.
Abhimanyu says how cannot anyone not fall for Akshara. All of them get indulged in enjoyment. Mahima comes there and angrily asks what her patient is doing here. Before Akshara could say something, Mahima tells Akshara that her music therapy can’t be given to every patient, especially not to serious patients. She angrily asks who brought her patient here without her permission. Before Abhimanyu and Akshara could say something, Mahima tells Abhimanyu that she doesn’t interfere with his patients and their matters, so she also expects the same from him.
Mahima’s patient tells her that his pain doesn’t go away with the painkillers but music makes him forget his pain. Mahima asks her patient why he came to hospital for treatment, instead he should have gone to some music academy. The patient requests Mahima to let him stay here. Anand comes and allows the patient to stay where he wants to. He asks Mahima to let the patients stay here if they are getting benefitted from Akshara’s music therapy. Abhimanyu thanks Anand and tells him that patients are actually getting benefitted from Akshara’s music therapy. Anand says he can see that and praises Akshara. Akshara thanks Anand.
Mahima asks Abhimanyu and Anand to stop talking about her patients. Anand reminds Mahima that he is her senior. He asks Mahima to see her patient’s happiness. Anand also says that this therapy is better for their hospital’s portfolio and future. He reminds Mahima that she only wanted to start Akshara’s music therapy in their hospital. Anand says their hospital as well as to-be daughter-in-law will earn fame and benefit from this. Mahima leaves angrily and notices that Aarohi heard it all. Akshara tells Abhimanyu that she always messes up. She says she should have got Mahima’s permission before shifting her patient.
Abhimanyu tells Akshara that she always does what her heart says and her heart can’t ever be wrong. Abhimanyu takes out lunch to have it with Akshara. Akahsra tells Abhimanyu that she is observing Panchpadi Ekadashi fast for him today. She explains to Abhimanyu that according to the customs, she can’t break her fast till she eats kheer prepared by her in-laws. Abhimanyu asks Akshara if she hasn’t eaten anything since morning. Akshara signs no. Abhimanyu feels good that Akshara kept a fast for him even before marriage. Akshara tells Abhimanyu that she can starve whole life for him, one day is no big deal. Abhimanyu tells Akshara that he will also keep all fasts alongside her.
Akshara asks Abhimanyu if he has gone crazy. Abhimanyu tells Akshara that he is crazy in love with her. He asks Akshara why all works are divided between girls and boys. Abhimanyu says why can’t boys do what girls do and why can’t girls do what boys do. He says household chores are like jobs and take many hands to fulfill. Abhimanyu tells Akshara that they will do every work together. He explains to Akshara that fasts are like emotions and care. Abhimanyu tells Akshara that they will share these emotions and care together. Akshara tells Abhimanyu that this big lecture was not needed. Abhimanyu tells Akshara that she could also have agreed to him earlier.
Abhimanyu calls on Birlas landline. Manjiri receives the call. Abhimanyu worriedly asks Manjiri why she picked up the call and where all the staff are. Manjiri replies staff would be somewhere here and there. Abhimanyu tells Manjiri that he asked to call if kheer to break Akshara’s fast has been prepared or not. Manji tells Abhimanyu that their cook is on leave and Mahima took this responsibility. She says it seems that Mahima is busy. Manjiri asks Abhimanyu to not worry and says she will prepare it. Akshara tells Manjiri that she won’t go to the kitchen but the call gets disconnected in between. Abhimanyu and Akshara get worried thinking that Manjiri may strain herself in the kitchen as it’s about her son’s wedding ritual.
They leave for home. Abhimanyu is on the call with Neil. Neil tells Abhimanyu that Manjiri is not listening to him and is working in the kitchen. Abhimanyu disconnects the call asking Neil to take care of Manjiri till he and Akshara reach home. Abhimanyu worriedly asks Akshara if she is very hungry. Akshara replies that she is fine. At Birla house, Neil tries to stop Manjiri from working, but she remains adamant. Manjiri starts feeling unwell and dizzy. Neil runs but Abhimanyu and Akshara reach first. Abhimanyu handles Manjiri. As Aarohi returns home, Swarna asks her about Akshara’s whereabouts. Aarohi tells Swarna that Akshara is with Abhimanyu.
Swarna asks Aarohi if Akshara had the kheer or is still hungry. Aarohi tells Swarna that she always cares about Akshara and didn’t even ask her if she had anything or not. Swarna asks Aarohi why she is going mad. She says she asked just because Akshara kept fast for the first time. Aarohi says everyone just cares for Akshara forgetting other people in the house. Swarna apologizes to Aarohi. Aarohi tells Swarna that she doesn’t need to worry about Akshara as let alone kheer, Abhimanyu will even get sun, moon and aliens for her.
Swarna says as per the ritual/custom, Akshara can only have her in-laws prepared kheer, not from outside. At Birla house, Abhimanyu, Akshara, Neil and Parth make Manjiri sit to rest. Abhimanyu scolds Manjiri for working in the kitchen when he asked her not to. He asks Manjiri what if something would have happened to her. He angrily makes Akshara sit and asks her why she didn’t inform him earlier about her fast as he would have arranged something. Manjiri tells Abhimanyu that she asked Mahima to prepare kheer but she may have gotten busy with work. Akshara receives Swarna’s call on Abhimanyu’s phone. Swarna asks Akshara if she had her in-laws prepared kheer or not.
Akshara tells Swarna that she came to Abhimanyu’s home to meet Manjiri. When Swarna once asks Akshara if she ate kheer and broke her fast or not, Akshara escapes the question by saying she will talk to her later. She thinks she disconnected the call. Abhimanyu tells Manjiri that she knows how Mahima is. He says Mahima should have told them if she didn’t want to come. At the same time, Mahima returns and asks what she should have told. Abhimanyu tells Mahima that as per her promise, she didn’t return home on time to prepare kheer to break Akshara’s fast. He also tells Mahima that Manjiri herself went to prepare kheer and started feeling dizzy. Abhimanyu further tells Mahima that boiling milk could have spilled on Manjiri.
He tells Mahima that she could have refused or either told him if she couldn’t fulfill the responsibility she took. Manjiri asks Abhimanyu to get quiet. Mahima asks Manjiri, let Abhimanyu say what was saying. Mahima asks Abhimanyu, why he is making a big issue of such a small thing. She says no one got hurt. Mahima scolds Manjiri for entering the kitchen even when she forbade her. She says she is called guilty when others work as per their wishes. Mahima says Goenka’s traditions and rituals never end. Abhimanyu asks Mahima to not shift her blame on others. He asks Mahima why she didn’t reach on time when she took the responsibility.
Mahima says she was busy with hospital tension. Angry Abhimanyu asks Mahima if she is tense because Akshara’s therapy is curing her patients. Mahima gets shocked and angry hearing this. Abhimanyu says Manjiri is still not well, what if something would have happened to her. Manjiri asks Abhimanyu, is this the way to talk to elders. Mahima says customs and rituals are followed to bring happiness in home, not worries or tensions. She says if they are entering into an alliance with Goenkas, it doesn’t mean they will become like them. Mahima tells Abhimanyu that they are doctors first and doesn’t know how to follow all these rituals or customs.
Goenkas overhears all this as Abhimanyu’s call didn’t get disconnected. Swarna. Swarna blames herself for all the tension. Manish asks her no to. Aarohi wonders why everyone chants Akshara’s name when all problems arise, wherever she goes. At Birla house, Akshara asks Abhimanyu to calm down and says Mahima is right that rituals should bring happiness, not tensions. She asks Manjiri to touch the kheer and then she will eat it. Neil praises Akshara for preparing kheer in less time and even for curing patients with her music therapy. Mahima feels angry hearing Akshara’s praises. Abhimanyu angrily leaves from there. Manjiri feeds the kheer to Akshara and blesses her. Mahima angrily leaves, making everyone tense.
In the next episode, will give a recovery stage patient’s responsibility to Aarohi. The recovery patient will recognize Aarohi. He will tell Aarohi that he saw her, when he was feeding cows with his mother near the temple. Aarohi will get scared hearing this. Abhimanyu and Akshara will be seen looking at a scared Aarohi, standing behind her.
