Yeh Rishta 2nd May 2022 Written Update Aarohi’s twist Akshara and Abhimanyu walk towards their haldi ceremony venue. Abhimanyu keeps looking at Akshara lovingly. He asks Akshara to promise him that she won’t remain alone even for a minute, no matter what happens. Akshara promises the same to Abhimanyu. She asks Abhimanyu to promise that his name will always be associated with her name. Abhimanyu promises Akshara the same. Akshara and Abhimanyu will walk towards their own haldi ceremony venues. Swarna and Manjiri perform Akshara and Abhimanyu’s veneration respectively.

While Shefali wards off evil/bad sight from Abhimanyu, Suhasini wards off evil/bad sight from Akshara. Both Birla and Goenka family members apply haldi and oil to Abhimanyu and Akshara respectively. Harsh applies haldi to Abhimanyu and blesses him. This scene makes everyone emotional. The Goenka family dances in happiness. “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai”, the title song plays in the background. Suddenly, happy Aarohi feels something strange and jealous. On the other hand, Manjiri asks Neil to take leftover haldi to Goenkas for Akshara. Abhimanyu gets shocked, when Aarohi arrives to pick up Abhimanyu’s leftover haldi for Akshara.

Vansh teasingly says that they will call “doctorni ji” from tomorrow. Akshara says she doesn’t want to be addressed as “doctorni”. Suhasini tells Swarna that Kairav sent Aarohi to pick up haldi and this is making her fear that Abhimanyu may feel bad. Swarna tells Suhasini that Abhimanyu himself allowed Aarohi to attend Akshara’s wedding. Suhasini tells Swarna that Abhimanyu may feel offended seeing Aarohi following the bride’s sister’s rituals. Aarohi tells Manjiri that the bride’s sister picks up haldi from the groom’s family according to her family rituals. Angry Abhimanyu asks Neil to go with Aarohi as she may by mistake stumble her feet on her lehenga and make haldi fall. He says Aarohi can even make something fall in haldi.

Abhimanyu asks Neil to go with Aarohi and take care of haldi. Aarohi feels angrier. Manjiri asks Abhimanyu why he said all that as it would have hurted Aarohi. Abhimanyu tells Manjiri that if Aarohi would have told everyone the same thing, he would have felt bad. Manjiri tells Abhimanyu that he could have said the same thing, the other way. Abhimanyu reminds Manjiri that he is straight spoken. He leaves telling Manjiri that he can trust Aarohi, even a bit, after whatever she did. Mahima tells Manjiri that whatever Abhimanyu is doing is right. On the other hand, Neil asks Aarohi to not feel bad. Aarohi asks Neil to keep his lecture to him and do whatever Abhimanyu told him as he won’t understand how bad she feels.

Aarohi stumbles and Neil saves the haldi bowl. Aarohi tells Neil that it was going to happen by mistake. Neil takes the haldi bowl from Aarohi’s hands and tells her that he can’t take any risk with his brother and sister-in-law’s haldi. He walks forward with Haldi. Vansh teases Akshara. Neil comes with Abhimanyu’s haldi for Akahara. Everyone gets happy seeing her. Swarna says it’s her right to apply haldi to Akshara first being her mother figure. She says she wants Aarohi to apply haldi to Akshara first. Aarohi applies haldi to Akshara and the latter hugs the former. One by one, everyone applies haldi to Akshara. Akshara applies haldi to Kairav too. Neil says he will also apply haldi to his sister-in-law and does the same.

He receives someone’s call. Neil tells Akshara that Nishtha sent him Abhimanyu’s haldi photograph. Akshara asks Neil to show it to her. Neil tells Akshara that according to rituals, she and Abhimanyu can’t see each other after the haldi ceremony. Akshara convinces Neil to let her see Abhimanyu’s haldi photograph. Neil gives the phone to Akshara. She zooms the photograph to see two women staring at Abhimanyu. Akshara says it’s the same pool witch. Everyone gets shocked hearing the word witch. Akshara says she won’t leave this witch woman, as she is still following “her Abhi”.

Askhara gets up angrily and walks towards Abhimanyu. Swarna asks Kairav and Vansh to stop Akshara from going in front of Abhimanyu as Mahima will get angry otherwise. Two women including the pool witch woman turns out to be Shefali’s friends. Shefali introduces them to Abhimanyu. She tells Abhimanyu that Neeti is a model and Sunidhi is a famous vlogger. Shefali also tells Abhimanyu that Neeti and Sunidhi came to capture his haldi, knowing that he is getting married. Abhimanyu doesn’t shake hands with Neeti and Sunidhi, instead he greets them by folding his hands in Namaste pose. He gets shocked seeing angry Akshara coming towards him with her face covered.

Angry Akshara will ask Neeti, how dare she come again to flirt with “her Abhi”. Neeti asks Akshara who she is. Akshara shows her face to Neeti. Neeti recognizes Akshara and understands that she is Abhimanyu’s would-be wife. Akshara asks Neeti how dare she lay her eyes on “her Abhi”. Akshara’s behavior surprises and shocks everyone. Abhimanyu feels happy and Anand also smiles seeing cute angry jealous Akshara. Akshara asks Neeti if she forgot what happened yesterday. Neeti tries to explain to Akshara what she actually came for. Akshara doesn’t listen to Neeti and scolds her for making excuses to be near, “her Abhi”. Abhimanyu says Neeti was trying to flirt with him yesterday.

Akshara scolds Abhimanyu and asks him to be quiet as she can fight alone. Abhimanyu tells Akshara that Neeti and Sunidhi are Shefali’s friends. Shefali says Neeti and Sunidhi aren’t her friends. Both Abhimanyu and Akshara indulge in an argument. Mahima says Akshara broke the ritual. Anand tells Mahima that it’s fine as they are getting entertained, with whatever fun is going on in front of them. Goenkas comes and asks Akshara to stop. Mahima tells Goenkas that they should have stopped Akshara beforehand as according to rituals Akshara and Abhimanyu shouldn’t have seen each other’s faces before marriage. Mahima says Apshagun happened. Suhasini asks Mahima to not worry as Akshara has already covered her face behind the veil and can’t see Abhimanyu properly through it.

Abhimanyu asks Akshara how can she even think that he can be any other woman, except her. Akshara tells Abhimanyu that she was able to hear his laugh even from behind his still photograph, in which Neeti and Sunidhi were staring at him from behind. Abhimanyu tells Akshara that he wishes to see her cute jealous face. Elders ask Abhimanyu and Akshara to stop fighting. Parth says that’s why he said that performing haldi together was a good idea. Suahsini says whatever happens, happens by God’s will. Swarna says even no apshagun occurred. Neil asks can both Birlas and Goenkas celebrate together now. All Goenkas and Birlas agree to the suggestion of celebrating haldi together. Birlas and Goenkas dance and enjoy together on the song, “Mauja hi Mauja”.

Old happ flashbacks of Abhimanyu and Akshara are shown. Later, Suhasini asks Aarohi to keep Guruji’s prasad on Akshara’s wedding lehenga. On the other hand, Abhimanyu and Akshara tell Manjiri and Swarna that their haldi color didn’t get washed off properly. Manjiri and Swarna laughs and asks Abhimanyu and Akshara to rub lemon to remove haldi color. Aarohi and Neil, on the other hand, enter Akshara’s room. Neil tells Aarohi that he came to give pooja’s prasad sent by Manjiri for Akshara. He also tells Aarohi that Manjiri asked Akshara to have/eat the prasad right now. Aarohi asks Neil to keep the prasad on the table as she will tell Akshara about Manjiri’s instructions, when she will arrive.

Neil keeps the prasad on the table. Aarohi screams, Oh No. She grows tense and walks here-there, searching for Alshara’s wedding lehenga. Neil asks Aarohi what happened and what she is searching for. Aarohi asks Neil to leave and not trouble her. Akshara on the other hand thinks that she will try her new heels with her wedding lehenga after taking a bath. Neil on the other hand gets shocked on learning that Akshara’s wedding lehenga is missing.

In the next episode, Abhimanyu will ask a worried Akshara, why she gave her wedding lehenga’s responsibility to Aarohi. He will get angry and will tell Akshara that he will find her wedding lehenga, no matter, wherever it is at present. Abhimanyu will run to find Akshara’s wedding lehenga. Mahima will taunt Goenkas for arriving late and ask Akshara if her, this occasion/ceremony outfit also got lost. She will also taunt Goenkas for sending Abhimanyu (the groom) to find out Akshara’s (bride) lost wedding lehenga. Abhimanyu on the call will inform Akshara that he reached the temple and will inform her whenever he will find her wedding lehenga. He will get angry seeing Aarohi too at the temple.
