Yeh Rishta 6th May 2022 Written Update Abhira Wedding Manjiri is seen performing Abhimanyu’s aarti. Abhimanyu feels happy seeing his mother happy. Harsh asks Manjiri to make it fast and take a look at his sherwani button too. He rudely tells Manjiri that this last minute problem wouldn’t have arised, if she would have taken a look at it earlier. This angers Abhimanyu. He recalls Harsh’s everyday taunts and injustice towards him, Goenkas and especially Manjiri and Akshara. Manjiri asks Harsh to perform Abhimanyu’s pagdi tying ritual, till she handles his sherwani button issue.
Abhimanyu stops Harsh and says that he doesn’t want blessings from a person who doesn’t value humans and relations. This shocks everyone. He says that he needs the blessings of a person who will embrace his and Akshara’s relationship with all his heart and belongings on the new beginning of his life. Abhimanyu apologizes to Harsh and tells him that his blessings won’t ever be true or enough for him and Akshara. This angers Harsh. Parth asks Abhimanyu whom he would get the pagdi tied by, if not by Harsh. Anand tells Abhimanyu that it’s a father’s right. Abhimanyu asks Anand by what right, Harsh will tie pagdi to him, when he never fulfilled any of duties.
Abhimanyu’s words hurt Harsh and shock everyone. He reminds everyone that it’s Manjiri who always took care of all his small and big needs, since childhood. Abhimanyu says the right to tie his pagdi should belong to Manjiri, not Harsh. Everyone feels shocked. Akshara places her parents’ photograph on the table and sings a song for everyone. She expresses love and respect to her younger ones and elders of the family, while singing. Everyone caresses and expresses love to Akshara. Mahima tells Abhimanyu that some of the rituals are performed only by male members of the house, not female. Abhimanyu tells Mahima that many things are changing with time, this should also be changed.
He tells Mahima that all issues and problems arises due to the discrimination between men and women. Abhimanyu tells Mahima that he thought that she agrees to this. Mahima and Harsh lower down their eyes. Abhimanyu finally makes Manjiri tie him the shagun pagdi and kalgi. Parth and Neil help Manjiri. After this Manjiri once again performs Abhimanyu’s aarti and wards off the evil eye from him. Abhimanyu asks Manjiri how he is looking. Manjiri tells Abhimanyu that he is looking exactly like a charming prince. Abhimanyu smiles and hugs Manjiri. Disappointed and hurt Harsh leaves and Anand notices his sadness. Later, Anand goes to talk to Harsh.
Harsh expresses his pain to Anand. He tells Anand that Abhimanyu doesn’t want to keep any relation with him and today he snatched his right of being a father. Harsh tells Anand that he has tolerated Abhimanyu’s anger and resentment since childhood. He asks Anand to tell him how he can tolerate his son’s (Abhimanyu’s) hate towards him. Anand tells Harsh that they both are unlucky in case of children. He says he can’t accept Parth as he is and Abhimanyu doesn’t want to accept him (Harsh) as he is. Harsh asks Anand, what mistake he made that Abhimanyu hates him. He says, he gave a good upbringing to Abhimanyu, got him educated, fulfilled all his wishes and made him a doctor.
Harsh says Abhimanyu still loves Manjiri, not him. He says his and Manjiri’s issues are different and no one will ever be able to understand them. Anand interrupts Harsh in between when he talks about his and Manjiri’s possible separation. Harsh says Abhimanyu forgives everyone and just does not understand him. Anand teasingly asks Harsh to stop crying like a bride as he is the groom’s father. Anand explains to Harsh that whoever performs the pagdi ritual, he will always remain Abhimanyu’s father and no one can change this fact. He asks Harsh to forget everything and enjoy Abhimanyu’s marriage wholeheartedly. Both brothers hug each other.
On the other hand, Akshara sits with her parents’ photograph. Kairav finds Akshara checking her make-up. Both Akshara and Kairav ask each other to eat something as they won’t get time for it later on. Akshara indirectly asks Kairav to get married and bring someone to Goenka house, who will care for him. Kairav tells Akshara that he will get married after she will bid farewell to Goenkas and enter Birla house. Akshara tells Kairav that she will always be his sister and thus she will always be worried about him. Kairav teasingly tells Akshara that he can’t get rid of her in this birth. Both brother and sister laugh together.
Kairav and Akshara make each other have food and juice. Both Kairav and Akshara get emotional, missing their parents. On Akshara’s questioning, Kairav tells Akshara that he is shedding tears of happiness as she is leaving Goenka Mansion. Akshara cutely gets angry at Kairav’s repeated jokes. Someone calls Kairav for some work. Before leaving, Kairav wards off evil eyes from beautiful bride Akshara. This makes Akshara smile and Kairav leaves. Akshara smiles thinking Abhimanyu might have left with his marriage procession to marry her. On the other hand, dhol and drums are beaten in happiness.
Manjiri performs Abhimanyu’s aarti and helps him in attaching the groom’s sword to his sherwani. She performs some rice rituals too. Manjiri wishes and blesses happiness and love to Abhimanyu. Abhimanyu takes everyone’s blessings by touching their feet. He also touches Harsh’s feet on Manjiri’s insistence. Abhimanyu says everyone teaches and explains a bride to change herself according to her in-laws after marriage. He says surprisingly, no one explains to the bride’s in-laws that after marriage, a girl/bride leaves her family, house, her everything and comfort level to enter their house. Abhimanyu continues saying that no one explains to the bride’s in-laws that they should not make their daughter-in-law feel out of place or like a stranger/outsider.
Harsh says instead of making so many people change for just one person, it’s better that one person changes his or her habits for everyone. Manjiri makes Abhimanyu control his anger. Shefali asks Harsh to think how much a person will have to change himself/herself to work according to so many people. She says that if so many people will change according to one new person, little by little or in a short time, the work will be done. Everyone except Harsh smiles. Abhimanyu thanks Shefali. He explains to his family that he already has an equation with every Birla family member but Akshara doesn’t have it till now.
Abhimanyu requests his family to give Akshara a chance to let her make her place in the Birla family member’s hearts, instead of trying to change her according to them. He thanks his family for their trials or efforts they have put till now towards making his and Akshara’s bond stronger. Neil and Abhimanyu ask Abhimanyu to reach the wedding venue before any more problems arise. Abhimanyu tells his brothers that they will anyhow bring Akshara to their family and house as a new family member. Akshara on the other hand, feels excited thinking that now her dream of becoming Mrs. Akshara Abhimanyu Birla will soon come true.
She feels nervous as well as excited about her marriage and Abhimanyu’s marriage procession’s arrival. Abhimanyu sits on his bike and Birlas dance surrounding him. He also feels excited about marrying Akshara and taking her to his house as his wife. Later, Kairav announces that Abhimanyu’s marriage procession has arrived. Manish asks why Birlas arrived with marriage procession on right time. Akhilesh tells Manish that doctor’s always reach everywhere on time. Suhasini says she in advance told Birlas, the muhurat time. Kairav asks Reem about various preparations. Reem tells she has checked all.the preparations. She also tells them that she knows about Goenka’s varmala history.
Akshara overhears all this and gets excited and emotional. Abhimanyu reaches his wedding venue with his marriage procession. Goenkas gets happy seeing Abhimanyu and his marriage procession. Abhimanyu joins his siblings and sister-in-law in dancing. Seeing this excited Akshara also dances in her bridal room. Everyone smiles seeing the marriage procession’s dance. Goenkas welcomes Abhimanyu and his marriage process with a song and dance. Abhimanyu and Akshara feel happy and excited.
In the next episode, Suhasini and Kairav explain to Abhimanyu that he can enter the wedding venue only after touching the toran hanging at a height. Akshara wonders how “her Abhi” will touch the toran hanging at such a height. Abhimanyu will stand on his bike and fulfill Goenkas Toran ritual successfully. Seeing this Akshara will be happy. Mahima will ask how much Abhimanyu will have to wait for his bride (Akshara). Akshara will come outside in her bridal outfit. Her face will be seen covered with a chunri with #AbhiKiAkshu written/embroidered on it. Abhimanyu will get stunned and emotional seeing Akshara in a bridal outfit.
