Yeh Rishta 16th May 2022 Written Update Akshara tough call Harsh tells Akshara that it would be good, if she understands the Birla family’s lifestyle as early as possible. Manjiri calls confused and hurt Akshara towards her. Both Manjiri and Akshara start serving tea and breakfast to everyone. Mahima says it’s good as Manjiri will now get a company and one more help with Akshara by her side. Anand asks Manjiri and Akshara what are their plans for today. Mahima says they all will go to work and on the other side Manjiri, Akshara and Parth will get rid of their tiredness from the wedding.

Manjiri tells Mahima that she was thinking of completing the post marriage rituals of Abhira and inviting Goenkas too. Akshara feels happy hearing this. Her happiness vanishes as Harsh scolds Manjiri for thinking all this. He says Birlas have already got physically tired with Abhira’s wedding ceremonies and will get mentally tired with post marriage rituals. Harsh says they are professionals and can’t waste time on such unwanted things. Mahima tells Manjiri that they have important meetings lined up. She also tells Manjiri that she should have asked them before deciding all this. Akshara feels shocked seeing Harsh and Mahima’s behavior towards Manjiri.

Anand tells Mahima that it’s fine as it’s an online meeting and can be set up anywhere. He asks Mahima to try to understand that post marriage rituals are important as they also had them. Anand asks Manjiri to prepare for Abhira’s post marriage rituals. Manjiri thanks Anand. Mahima asks Anand how the meeting will take place from home. She and Harsh remind Anand that they have to privately discuss the music department issue too. Parth asks Manjiri and Akshara to sit and have breakfast with everyone. Manjiri and Akshara make each other sit on the dining table chairs.

As Manjiri sits on the chair, Harsh rudely asks Manjiri where his sugar-free is. He rudely tells Manjiri that he has many times told her that his sugar free should be kept near his plate. Manjiri apologizes to Harsh and runs to get Harsh’s sugar free. Harsh rudely tells Manjiri that his tea will get cold till she brings it. Akshara feels shocked with Harsh’s behavior towards Manjiri. She gets even more shocked when Abhimanyu breaks a plate in anger seeing the injustice with his mother. Angry Harsh starts walking outside. Manjiri runs behind him requesting him to have his breakfast. Abhimanyu runs behind Manjiri to stop her.

Harsh angrily asks Manjiri to make him angry. Abhimanyu asks Harsh to talk to his mother politely. Harsh tells Abhimanyu that he is talking to his own wife, not his mother. He asks Abhimanyu to mind his own business. Abhimanyu says it is only his most important business, work and duty to protect his mother. Akshara gets shocked seeing Abhimanyu and Harsh’s equation. Manjiri asks Abhimanyu to get quiet. Harsh asks Manjiri to see how rudely her son (Abhimanyu) talks to his elders. He says today Abhimanyu is misbehaving, tomorrow his wife (Akshara) will do the same.

Abhimanyu asks Harsh why he is bringing Akshara in between all this. He says he doesn’t need to teach anything to Akshara as she knows how to treat humans and maintain relationships. Harsh asks Abhimanyu to keep respecting his wife and mother and disrespecting his father. Abhimanyu tells Harsh that he will get treated the way he treats others. Harsh asks Manjiri if he brought up and educated Abhimanyu to hear this from him. Abhimanyu tells Harsh that he would have the basic manners, even if he would have been uneducated, which unfortunately few people lack in them. Harsh asks Abhimanyu how dare he.

Abhimanyu tells Harsh that he is doing all what he learnt from him only since childhood. Anand stops Abhimanyu and Harsh’s argument and asks everyone to move to their own works. Everyone except Manjiri, Shefali, Neil and Akshara leaves angrily. Shefali asks Akshara to not forget to have her breakfast in all this commotion. She tells shocked Akshara that this happens everyday. Shefali also tells Akshara that she will find it weird initially but she will get used to it eventually. Shefali and Neil leave from there. Manjiri asks Akshara to have breakfast with Abhimanyu in their room as she will send it. Akshara asks Manjiri what was all this. Manjiri leaves asking to not think about whatever happened.

On the other hand, Goenkas feels excited about visiting Birlas house for the first time after Akshara’s wedding on Manjiri’s invitation. Unaware of the situation at Birla house, Goenkas thinks that Abhira’s post wedding ritual will take place with everyone’s presence. They discuss that except Manjiri, all Birlas seem to be from different planets. Swarna explains to everyone that even this is not the ritual to invite the bride’s family to post marriage rituals, Manjiri invited them, so they should respect Birlas’ invitation. At Birla house, Akshara feels confused, shocked and sad recalling whatever happened at the dining table.

Suddenly, Abhimanyu comes and starts dancing with Akshara to cheer her up. Soon Akshara too joins Abhimanyu and they dance together happily. This turns out to be a dream. But Abhimanyu anyhow makes Akshara dance with him. As the song ends, Abhimanyu requests Akshara to smile now. Akahara tells Abhimanyu that she isn’t able to forget his anger, which she saw in the morning. Abhimanyu apologizes to Akshara for whatever is happening with her since she entered Birla house as his wife. He tells Akshara that she already knew about his and Harsh’s equation and now she saw it from a closer view.

Abhimanyu tells Akshara that this is his and his family’s reality. He asks Akshara to never take anyone’s side blindly, instead do whatever she finds/feels is right. Abhimanyu tells Akshara that her point of view and opinion is as important as others. He requests Akshara to accept his weird family without getting affected by it. Abhimanyu asks Akshara to do whatever she feels is right. Akshara asks Abhimanyu why he talks to her this way. Abhimanyu asks Akshara to give it some time as she will understand everything herself gradually. Akshara tells Abhimanyu that it’s he, who needs to understand.

Abhimanyu tells Akshara that not she but he has known Harsh since childhood. He asks Akshara to leave all this and let’s concentrate on performing their post marriage rituals. Abhimanyu asks Akshara to deck up so beautifully that he, being a heart surgeon, will need a brain surgeon. Akshara and Abhimanyu get romantic. Neil suddenly enters Abhira’s room and apologizes realizing that he entered at a wrong time. Akshara gets shy and turns around. Abhimanyu reminds Neil that he asked him to knock before entering as he is now a married guy. Neil reminds Abhimanyu that he asked him to get used to locking his room door.

Abhimanyu asks Neil if he is trying to teach him. Neil tells Abhimanyu that he has no hopes from him now. He tells Akshara that Abhimanyu most of the time, mentally remains in OT. Neil asks Akshara to make some rules about her and Abhimanyu’s room with him as now she is the boss of this room. Abhimanyu tries to politely scold Neil but Neil hides behind Akshara and asks Abhimanyu to focus on his cabin as now Akshara is the new boss of this room. Akshara and Neil gang up and tease Abhimanyu calling him jealous. Later, Akshara asks Neil and Abhimanyu to go as she has to get ready for post marriage rituals. Abhimanyu asks Akshara to let both of them get ready together.

Neil coughs hearing this to make his presence in the room noticed. Shy Akshara scolds Abhimanyu cutely and sends Neil and Abhimanyu outside asking them to ask Manjiri if she needs any help from her. Akshara still feels tense. Neil and Abhimanyu tease and run behind each other. Later, Abhimanyu gets mesmerized seeing Akshara decked up beautifully in a red saree for their post marriage rituals. Akshara gets shy seeing Abhimanyu’s expressions towards her. Akshara emotionally runs past Abhimanyu towards Goenkas. She hugs Suhasini. Abhira meets Goenkas and takes their blessings.

Anand teasingly asks Akshara to not cry so much that her maternal family will think they troubled her. Akshara tells Anand that she failed to control herself seeing her maternal family. Kairav secretly asks Akshara if she is fine and happy. Akshara secretly replies to Kairav that she is fine and happy. Manjiri thanks Goenkas for coming on such short notice. Harsh asks Goenkas how they take out so much time for all these things even being from a business family. Manish replies that they have their own priorities. Abhimanyu angrily stares at smirking Harsh. Birlas take Goenkas inside. Abhimanyu and Manjiri take care of Goenkas. Vansh teases Abhimanyu.

Manjiri asks the servant to serve drinks to Goenkas. She and Abhimanyu make Goenkas sit with respect. Akshara thanks Manjiri. Manjiri tells Akshara that her family is her family too now. She asks Akshara to always be happy and smiling. Akshara makes Manjiri sit and leaves to bring drinks and snacks for Goenkas. Harsh in a low voice tells Anand and Mahima that people are multiplying like a virus in the list of people, whom Abhimanyu appreciates. He says it was only Manjiri in Abhimanyu’s people appreciation list, then Akshara and her family joined it. He says only he will be the one, who will never be able to enter this list.

Anand tells Harsh that he is more injurious than smoking cigarettes. He also tells Harsh that he doesn’t ever make it to Abhimanyu’s people appreciation list because he always remains envious. Anand says they did good by shifting the meeting to the house as Abhimanyu is already angry and his anger would have got worse, if they would not have attended his post marriage rituals. Goenkas feels weird seeing Mahima, Anand and Harsh ignoring them and just concentrating on their work. This shocks everyone but angers Abhimanyu.

In the next episode, Abhimanyu and Harsh will get indulged into another argument. Harsh will say they will have to shut the music therapy department (Akshara’s department). Abhimanyu will say that his mother’s dreams got buried in Birla house and he won’t let the same happen to Akshara’s dreams. He will tell Harsh that he won’t let him control Akshara’s dreams, ambitions and her happiness. Abhimanyu will say that the music therapy department won’t get shut in Birla hospital. Harsh will remain adamant saying that the music therapy department will shut down. Both Abhimanyu and Harsh will keep arguing. Akshara will say that it’s their decision whether her department will exist or not. She will announce her decision.
