Yeh Rishta Manjiri Shocker 9th July 2022 Written Update Shefali, Akshara, Aarohi and Swarna start dancing together on Teej celebrations. Parth, Abhimanyu, Neil and Manish join and dance happily. Shefali feels a little unwell, so Parth takes care of her. Anand also gets romantic with Mahima. Harsh watches everything from upstairs. Manjiri looks at Harsh and then ignores him. A game between married couples starts. Akshara and Abhimanyu win this game. Abhimanyu takes Akshara aside. They spend a romantic time near the pool under the night sky. Abhira returns inside the house and joins everyone in dancing (Kikli).

Harsh comes downstairs. Suddenly, Abhimanyu’s grip on Akshara’s hand loses and both of them fall in different directions. Everyone gets worried. Abhimanyu runs towards Akshara and apologizes to her. He asks Akshara if she got hurt somewhere. Akshara says no. Abhimanyu says he doesn’t know how he lost his grip on her hand. Akshara and Swarna calms Abhimanyu by saying that it happens during dance. Akshara asks Abhimanyu to stop feeling apologetic as such things happen. She asks Abhimanyu to not take unnecessary tension. Abhimanyu tells Akshara that his heart almost stopped seeing her falling.

Akshara starts making Abhimanyu have his favorite ladoos. Abhimanyu tells Akshara that he doesn’t want to eat the sweets. Akshara asks Abhimanyu to honestly tell her if he kept a fast. Initially Abhimanyu says no, but later accepts that he kept a fast. This makes Akshara emotional and she thanks Abhimanyu. Abhimanyu asks Akshara what is the need of thank you in this as he kept a fast just like her. Akshara tells Abhimanyu that husbands keeping fast for wives is a big thing for girls/women. It means a lot to them. Abhimanyu tells Akshara that girls and women are stupid for thinking this as a big thing, because he didn’t do anything big but just kept a fast just like his wife.

Akshara asks Abhimanyu to let her be happy knowing that her husband kept fast for her. Abhimanyu asks Akshara to let him also be happy. He also asks Akshara to stop considering or treating husbands as God. Abhimanyu tells Akshara that husbands and wives are equal and should be treated equally. Akshara tells Abhimanyu that this is not possible for her as he will always remain more special to her than herself. Abhira emotionally hugs each other. They start feeling hungry. Everyone except Manjiri gets excited with the moon’s arrival.

Everyone reaches the terrace for performing Teej pooja and breaking the fast. Aarohi says Suhasini unnecessarily made her keep a Teej fast, saying that she will get a good/perfect husband by making the Teej Goddess happy. Suhasini assures Aarohi that she will get a perfect husband and asks her to wait. Neil and Vansh say they would have also kept a fast if they would have known that they can get a perfect partner through fasting. Mahima and Shefali request everyone to talk later and break the fast quickly as they can’t tolerate hunger anymore. Swarna asks Akshara and Abhimanyu to start the pooja first.

Everyone gets confused seeing both Abhimanyu and Akshara picking up pooja thali. Swarna asks Abhimanyu if he also kept a fast. Akshara says yes. Manish tells Abhimanyu that he is proud of him. Parth asks Anand if this much understanding/care between couples is normal. Anand says it’s not everyone’s cup of tea. Parth says they will have to learn all this from Abhimanyu. He also says that their partners would expect the same from them, if Abhimanyu will always set such high standards in a relationship. Neil says now he is feeling tense for himself even when he has no girlfriend till now. Manish tells Neil that he still has age for being able to keep a fast. He asks Neil to think about them (old people).

Aarohi asks Swarna to make it quick as she is feeling very hungry. Swarna says it’s Abhira’s first Teej, so they will start the pooja. Abhira performs the Teej Pooja together. They make each other have water and sweets. Everyone gets stunned, Akshara and Abhimanyu continuously make each other have sweets. Neil records this cute moment of Abhira. Vansh teasingly asks who will touch the other one’s feet now. Abhimanyu and Akshara hug each other. Everyone gets happy seeing Abhira happy together. Manjiri wards off the evil eye/sight from Abhira.

After this Shefali and Aarohi break their fast. Neil teases Aarohi saying that she has gone mad with hunger. Aarohi cutely shuts down Neil’s mouth. Then Mahima and Swarna break their fast. Manjiri feels upset being alone. Abhimanyu and Akshara notice this. Harsh comes there and asks Manjiri why she didn’t call him, as it’s been so long since the moon came out. He asks Manjiri to make the Teej Pooja quick as he has many works to do. Harsh’s attitude and behavior irks everyone. Akshara wonders what the silent Manjiri is thinking or going to do.

Manjiri walks towards the pooja thali. In a low voice, Abhimanyu asks Akshara why Manjiri isn’t saying anything. Akshara tells Abhimanyu that Manjiri will herself take a stand for herself, they won’t interrupt. Abhimanyu says he hopes that Manjiri gives a befitting reply to Harsh. Harsh with an attitude asks Manjiri to make it quick as he won’t stay the whole night at terrace. Manjiri picks up the pooja thali and turns towards Harsh. Manjiri recalls Harsh’s bitter and ill words and behavior towards her, which she suffered for years. Manjiri doesn’t perform any pooja and starts having sweets.

This stuns everyone. Everyone looks at each other and then Manjiri. Harsh asks Manjiri if she didn’t keep Teej fast. Manjiri says no. Abhimanyu and Akshara feel proud of Manjiri. They walk to her. Harsh asks Manjiri what nonsense this is. Manjiri reveals that she tried a lot, but couldn’t do it this time. She says a woman can stay hungry and thirsty for the whole day, if she has love filled in her life. She says such rituals and customs don’t mean anything in a relationship, which is hollow and where love doesn’t exist. Harsh asks Manjiri if she lost her mind. He tells Manjiri that she wouldn’t have talked nonsense if she would have been hungry the whole day.

Everyone feels angry towards Harsh’s rude attitude and behavior. Harsh asks Manjiri if she started a new drama, because she didn’t divorce him. Abhimanyu angrily tells Harsh that Manjiri didn’t ever say that she forgave him. Abhimanyu tells Harsh that by keeping a Teej fast himself, he understood that Akshara was right that it’s not just a fast but an emotion. He also tells Harsh that responsibility of emotions in a relationship is not just taken by women. Abhimanyu says even men have equal responsibilities towards their relationship and emotions that exist in it.

He explains to Harsh that wives are not their servants or slaves. Abhimanyu says men also have equal responsibilities to make efforts in their relationship and marriage. In the next episode, an angry Harsh will throw pooja thali towards Manjiri. Abhimanyu will save Manjiri from getting hurt or injured from coconut kept in pooja thali. Later, Manjiri will call Abhira downstairs. Whole Birla family will come there. Confident Manjiri will say that it’s her turn to speak as Harsh said a lot already.
