Kumkum Bhagya 23rd January 2023 Written Update Pranbir’s daughter Prachi does makeup to a girl who becomes a part of the Kanjak puja. The girl tells that her dad won’t like the glitter which she is applying to her eyes. Ranbir asks his daughter did her mum apply the purple eyeshadow to her. He tells that he doesn’t like that kind of makeup. Both Prachi and Ranbir are unaware of their real daughter Panchi, who is alive and living a power struck of poverty. Panchi is now Khushi. How will Prachi and Ranbir come across a helpless Khushi, who needs her parents badly in her life? Keep reading.

Earlier in the show, Rhea finds Ranbir unconscious in his car. She runs to save him. She rushes him to the hospital. Pallavi and Dida attend Ranbir. Ranbir asks for Prachi. Pallavi tells that Prachi and Panchi aren’t with them. He tells that he will go and find them.

Dida tells that he was unconscious since two days. Ranbir tells that they didn’t find them well. Pallavi tells that Prachi and Panchi are no more. Ranbir takes time to accept the harsh truth. Pallavi tells that they couldn’t find Prachi and Panchi. She tells that they just found a woman’s dead body, it was unidentifiable. Rhea tells that police doubts that its Prachi’s body. Dida tells that they have done Prachi’s last rites. Pallavi asks Ranbir who will he get from there, when there is no one. After a leap of six years, Ranbir is seen buying a dupatta for his daughter. Prachi is seen with her daughter. She tells that she will make her ready before her dad comes.

Ranbir shops for his daughter as per her choice. The shopkeeper is surprised seeing his selection. He tells that he didn’t see such a father, who knows his daughter’s choice so well. Pallavi calls him up. Ranbir tells her that he bought everything, he is sure that his girl will look the best. The shopkeeper feels his daughter is really lucky. Prachi decks up a girl for the Kanjak puja. She tells that her dad will say that her choice is the best. Ranbir tells that his choice is the best. Prachi is seen living with Abhi’s Dadi and Sahana. She tells that she will go and make prasad.

She asks the girl to stay with Maasi, and not go with her dad without informing her. Sahana compliments the girl. Ranbir sees his daughter and asks her did her mum make her ready in this manner. Prachi makes the halwa. Dadi tells that the halwa is superb. Sahana tells that Mauli’s dad didn’t like the eyeshadow and makeup. Prachi tells that she will see him. She goes to deal with Mauli’s dad. Pallavi tells Ranbir that the girl looks like a doll. Ranbir tells that she isn’t looking pretty. Prachi tells that she is looking very pretty. Ranbir cleans the extra makeup.

Prachi asks Mauli’s dad to let her wear the makeup on Navami day. She convinces him to let Mauli dress up like Matarani. Dadi tells that Mauli’s dad won’t say anything. Prachi conducts the Kanjak puja. Dadi tells Mauli’s dad that Prachi regards Mauli as her daughter Panchi. Ranbir tells that his daughter should look pretty. Dida and Pallavi tell that the girl will wear the dress he got. Ranbir is happy on the outside, but sad within. Pallavi tells that she knows why he does this, he sees Panchi in everyone. Ranbir tells that Panchi would be like Radha if she was alive, Radha and Panchi were born on the same day of the week. He goes for the Kanjak puja. Pallavi asks for a boy to play Bhairav. A little boy comes. Ranbir adores him. Pallavi cries seeing her son in pain. She knows that Ranbir remembers Panchi always. Ranbir and Prachi miss their Panchi.

Ranbir and Prachi finish the Kanjak puja in their homes. Sahana asks Prachi to feed Mauli. Mauli asks for puri before sweets. Prachi misses Panchi. She thinks Panchi would have gone on her. She still blames Ranbir for Panchi’s loss. Ranbir feels Panchi would be with him and adapted his habits. He misses Panchi. He doesn’t want to remember Prachi. He blames Prachi for being a reason that he lost Panchi. They both regret that they can never meet their daughter. Dadi asks Prachi to forget whatever happened and move on in life. Prachi and Ranbir wonder how their daughter would have looked if she was alive. Their daughter Panchi is seen living a poor and troubled life. She prays at the temple.

Panchi is now Khushi. Khushi’s mother pulls her ears and scolds her for leaving the flower shop to rush to the temple. She asks Khushi to go and sell the flowers. Khushi struggles to sell the flowers. Khushi’s mum cheats for money. Khushi gets scolded for the cheat. She gets upset that her mum did cheating. Her mum justifies that she earns for her sake. She doesn’t think she did wrong. Khushi tells that saying lies is wrong. Khushi goes back to sell the flowers. She tells the truth that her mum doesn’t pay back the money. Prachi goes to the office to attend the meeting. She asks the assistant not to repeat her mistakes and say sorry always. She lectures her assistant.
