Malishka doesn’t tell her that Rishi and Lakshmi are missing, because Neelam will scold her for not controlling him. She asks Neelam not to worry, everything is fine and Vikrant’s family is also there. Neelam tells Karishma that Vikrant’s family is also there with them. Karishma asks her not to worry. Ayush wants to buy a bracelet for Shalu. She refuses. He goes to convince her. Rishi asks Lakshmi why is she staring at him. He tells that he can tell Vikrant and Malishka that she was trying the mangalsutra herself.
She tells that she had to remove his name mangalsutra today itself and he made her wear the new one. He promises that he will not let anything wrong happen with her. He tells that he wants to protect her and keep her happy. She asks why. He tells that he loves her a lot. They hold hands and get into a moment. Virender overhears Neelam and Karishma blaming Lakshmi. He asks them not to doubt Lakshmi, who will always be his daughter. He tells that Vikrant has taken Lakshmi to the jewelry store where Rishi has taken Malishka. He doesn’t think it’s Lakshmi’s fault. Ayush asks Shalu why is she so upset. He asks her not to get upset and smiles. She tells his mistake that he is letting Lakshmi and Vikrant’s marriage happen. She fears that they have seen Vikrant’s real side now. He adds that he feels love for her. Lakshmi pushes him away and rebukes him for breaking her trust. She tells that she isn’t his wife now and Malishka is his would-be wife. He feels sorry to make her cry.
