Kumkum Bhagya 22nd August 2023 Written Update Mayank exposed. Mihika falls in grave danger when both Rhea and Mayank make plans against Ranbir and Mihika. Mayank gets Mihika to Pradeep’s house and ties her with the ropes. She gets conscious and overhears Mayank and Pradeep’s talks. She asks Mayank to let her go, her family would be worried and Ranbir would be waiting for the engagement. She tells him that she doesn’t love him and she can’t marry him. Mayank goes mad on hearing this. He tells that he loves her and wants to marry her, so he got her along. He promises to leave his wife for Mihika’s sake. He tells that he will divorce his wife and marry Mihika.
He asks her to trust his love. He threatens to kill himself if she ends ties with him. Mihika asks him to stop his madness. He tells that he will cut his wrist. She gets a phone there. She calls Akshay and asks him to save her. Akshay gets her location and takes the police there. Ranbir, Akshay, and Prachi reach there and try to save Mihika. Mihika also fights Mayank to save her life. They don’t find Mihika at Pradeep’s house. They want to know where did Mihika go. Mihika learns of her family’s coming and runs to them. Mayank stops her and apologizes to her for cheating on him. He tells that he loves her and he didn’t understand her love before.
He asks Mihika to believe him and not leave him to die. Mihika melts her heart and hugs Mayank, shocking Akshay, Manpreet, Ranbir, and Prachi. Ranbir is worried for Mihika. He asks Mihika if is she okay and does she love him. He tells Mihika that Mayank is fooling her for money. He shows proof against Mayank. He asks Mayank not to lie to Mihika and fool her. Mihika gets shocked knowing Mayank’s truth. Ranbir tells that Mayank’s father has stated to him. Mayank asks Mihika not to believe Ranbir. She angrily slaps him. She asks Inspector to arrest Mayank. Akshay is worried for Mihika. Abhay doesn’t understand why Vishaka got down at the temple. Akshay tells that Vishaka believes in worship and wants to pray for Mihika. He doesn’t want Mihika and Ranbir to get married. He doesn’t understand Ranbir’s behavior. He thinks Ranbir likes Prachi. He doesn’t want Ranbir to get related to the family. He tells that Ranbir should leave their house and go away from Prachi. He wants to explain to Mihika to end ties with Ranbir. Inspector finds the goon lying unconscious. He informs Ranbir about the goon. He tells that they will find Mihika. Prachi is relieved that Rhea didn’t kidnap Mihika. He tells that Rhea is wrong. He guesses Mihika’s location.
Mayank gets Mihika to Pradeep’s house. He tells that he doesn’t know what to do. He asks Pradeep to stop bothering him. Mihika gets conscious. She sees Mayank and Pradeep. She asks Mayank what did he do. She regrets believing Mayank. He tells that he trusted her and she broke his trust. She wants to go. She fights him. He stops her from reaching the door. Ranbir tells that he wants to meet Mayank. Mayank’s dad tells that Mayank and his wife are away, he is just after money and doesn’t love them. Prachi tells Ranbir that they shall leave. Mayank tells Mihika that he knows she is going to cheat him. She tells that he cheated on her first. He tells that he was going to leave his wife for her sake. He adds that he is going to book their tickets and she will come with him. Mayank goes to check the door. Mihika gets a phone and calls Ranbir. She informs him that she is at Pradeep’s house. She tells that she will send the location. She messages Ranbir and Akshay and hopes they come soon. She hides the phone. Mayank looks for his phone.

Ashok tells the family that Akshay has filed a police complaint. Manpreet tells that Pallavi didn’t tell them about Rhea before. She is angry that Rhea is after Mihika’s life. Pallavi apologizes. She asks them to break the engagement. She knows what Manpreet is going through. She feels sorry to keep them under darkness. She tells that Rhea is mad, she will not let any girl marry Ranbir and it’s better to break Mihika and Ranbir’s relationship. Dida tells that Pallavi is in tension. Pallavi tells Dida that she has seen Ranbir and Prachi together and she knows he shouldn’t marry Mihika, because Ranbir and Prachi love each other. She is afraid of dangerous Rhea. She doesn’t want Mihika to become mad like Rhea.
She knows the truth won’t change. Akshay and Abhay come home. Akshay tells them about Vishaka getting down at the temple to pray for Mihika. He gets Mihika’s location. He rushes to find her. Manpreet and Pallavi also go with him. Ashok takes care of Dida. Ranbir and the police enter Pradeep’s house. He looks for Mihika. Akshay also reaches there. He tells that Mihika had sent her the live location. Ranbir tells about Mihika’s ex Mayank, who has kidnapped her. Rhea takes Mihika away. She gets angry with Mihika. She asks Mayank and Pradeep to take Mihika to the storeroom quickly. Mayank thanks, Rhea.
Rhea tells that she is helping herself because she hates Mihika. She adds that Ranbir is just of her. She angrily hurts Mihika. Ranbir and Akshay hear some sound. They run to the storeroom. Mihika manages to run outside. She sees the family members. Rhea hides from Ranbir. Mayank threatens to die. He compels Mihika to stop. He asks her to not leave him. He tells Mihika that he loves her.
