Kumkum Bhagya 23rd August 2023 Written Update Ranbir engaged. Mayank tells Mihika that he loves her a lot, he is sorry to cheat her and didn’t understand her love before. He asks her to forgive him and come back to him. He says that he can’t live without her. He promises to keep her happy. He apologizes for kidnapping her. He says that he wanted to stop the engagement. He tells that he will die if she leaves him and goes away. Mihika stops him and hugs him. The family watches them and gets confused. Ranbir interrupts them and tells that Mihika is making a big mistake, Mayank doesn’t love her and he is just fooling her, he is lying and manipulating her just for money. He tells that Mayank’s dad told him about Mayank’s greed for money. He recalls speaking to Mayank’s dad. Ranbir records their conversation.
Mayank’s dad says that Mayank is divorcing his wife, just to get rich by marrying Mihika. Ranbir shows the video to Mihika and exposes Mayank. Mayank says that it’s a fake video. Mihika slaps him in anger. She gets Mayank arrested. Mihika hugs Manpreet and weeps. She apologizes to Ranbir and thanks him for saving her once again. She asks him if he will still get engaged to her. Ranbir sees Prachi’s sad face. He says yes to the engagement. Manpreet tells Akshay that they shall go home and have the engagement ceremony. Ranbir and Prachi see each other. The family members go home. Akshay informs Ashok and Vishaka about Mayank’s crime.
Manpreet reveals that Ranbir exposed Mayank and saved Mihika’s life. The family is thankful to Ranbir for saving Mihika. Mihika says that Ranbir is the only good thing that happened to her. Vishaka asks Mihika and Ranbir to come on stage for the engagement. Akshay finds Ranbir looking at Prachi. He stays cautious. Prachi gets the rings. Ranbir and Mihika sit for the engagement. He looks at Prachi. Pallavi observes Ranbir and Prachi’s sad faces. She knows they still love each other. Ranbir thinks of his engagement with Prachi. Ranbir and Mihika exchange rings. Prachi claps for them and cries. Vishaka gets the sweets. Divya and Abhay tell about a musical performance for Ranbir and Mihika. Mihika and Ranbir also dance to a romantic song.

Mihika stumbles and gets away. Prachi gets a push by Mihika. She falls into Ranbir’s arms. She tries to go, but Ranbir continues to dance with her. Ranbir gets romantic and holds her close. Pallavi gets worried. Akshay goes mad in anger watching them and breaks a wine glass. Ranbir and Prachi hear the sound and stop dancing. Akshay gets high. He asks Ranbir and Prachi to keep dancing. He says that they are perfect together. He asks them not to go away and get close. He behaves madly. Ashok and Vishaka ask Akshay to stop it. Akshay gets angry with Prachi. He tells her that he is permitting her to dance romantically with a stranger.
