1 mature twist in YRKKH to redefine Abhira. Both the families bond together for Raksha Bandhan’s preparations just for Abhir’s sake. They want to cheer up Abhir. Abhir is upset. He misses Abhinav. Akshara and Abhimanyu put efforts into keeping Abhir engaged in the Rakhi-making activity. The family tries hard to make Abhir smile. Muskaan recollects her moments with Abhinav and cries. She feels the void in her life. Manjiri and Mahima surprise each other by making Rakhi for each other. Abhir wants to just go away from everyone. The family makes sincere efforts to forget everything and move on. Abhimanyu tells Abhir that he will tie the shoelace and help him. Abhir does not want to tie the lace. He does not take Akshara and Abhimanyu’s help. He just wants to be with Abhinav’s memories.

He locks himself in the cupboard. They look for him. He hears their call and does not respond. They find him inside the cupboard. Akshara says that she is with him. Abhir refuses to come out of the cupboard. Manish learns that Abhir has locked himself in the cupboard and does not want to come out. He pacifies Akshara and Abhimanyu. They try to be patient in handling Abhir. Later, Akshara gets Abhinav’s wallet. She sees their family picture and cries recollecting the moments with him. She hugs his shirt and weeps. Abhimanyu consoles Akshara. He knows she is in pain over losing a loved one. He takes the wallet and shirt from her and keeps it back in the cupboard. Kairav buys gifts for Abhir. He finds Muskaan upset.

She says that she has lost her brother and she cannot move on. He says that everyone must move on. She says that it’s not easy for her to move on. He asks her not to be unfair. She justifies her emotions for her brother. He does not deny her emotions. She says that she will always hate Abhimanyu. She finds the alarm ringing and learns about the marriage anniversary. She misses Abhinav and wishes him well. Abhimanyu tells Shefali about Abhir and Akshara’s sorrow. He adds that he can hug and console Abhir, but Akshara is breaking down.

He says that he is scared to give her strength. She says that he is sincere and staying within his limits, but he should save Akshara for the sake of humanity. She asks him to forget the past relationship with Akshara and help her. Akshara tells Abhinav that they became parents before becoming partners. She gives him the gift. She regrets that she couldn’t live well with him. She wishes he was with her. Akshara promises herself that she will get Abhir’s lost smile back.
