Kumkum Bhagya 31st August 2023 Written Update Confession. Ranbir and Akshay have a man-to-man talk. Akshay makes Ranbir drink to get some answers from him. He gets Ranbir drunk. He asks Ranbir about his past with Prachi. Ranbir loves Prachi a lot. He says that he has got to learn Akshay’s secret, after overhearing Vishaka and his conversation. Akshay asks what does he mean. He tells Akshay that he knows Prachi and Akshay’s relationship is nothing but fake, they have no relationship like a husband and a wife hold. Akshay doesn’t care. He angers him by telling his honeymoon plans. He tells Ranbir that he has planned the business trip just to have a honeymoon, he has booked a honeymoon suite and Ranbir can imagine what all can happen. Ranbir gets mad at Akshay.
Later, Ranbir is seen conversing with Mihika. He tells her he didn’t reveal his past to her until now because he didn’t want to hurt her. He adds that he wants to tell her the truth. He reveals that he loves Prachi a lot. Mihika is left shocked by his revelation. She thinks he is too drunk and saying nonsense without thinking anything. She doesn’t want to believe that Akshay was right about Ranbir and Prachi. She is perplexed and isn’t able to react to his confession.
Prachi has stopped Ranbir back home only for Mihika’s sake. Akshay focuses on taking Prachi on the trip. Mihika proceeds to propose to Ranbir for marriage. She wants to tell him that their fake relationship has turned true and she has fallen in love with him. Pallavi awaits Ranbir at home. She wishes nothing goes wrong in Tandon’s house. She is afraid of Prachi’s presence around Ranbir. Prachi has no plans to return to Ranbir, even though she loves him immensely. Mihika thanks Prachi about stopping Ranbir home. She tells that she knew Ranbir would listen to Prachi. Prachi tells that it’s good Pallavi got convinced. Mihika tells the truth about Ranbir, that she really loves him and wants to propose to him. She tells the details of Ranbir and her story. She starts narrating the details of their first meeting. She tells that her boyfriend Mayank ditched her and didn’t come to meet the family, he got married, and she went to commit suicide, but Ranbir came there to save her life. She adds that Ranbir saved her life for the second time and helped her by pretending to be her boyfriend. Mihika tells that she wants to confess her love to Ranbir and propose to her. She asks Prachi to tell her some way that makes Ranbir happy.

She calls Prachi her Love Guru. Prachi is amazed to know that Ranbir came home just to help Mihika. She asks Mihika to keep things simple and just confess love to Ranbir. She tells that nothing else matters when the love is true. Shahana overhears them. Prachi is happy that Mihika has found love. She tells that costly things and ambiance aren’t necessary, just a sweet confession is needed. She asks him to speak out her heart and it will reach Ranbir’s heart. She persuades Mihika to go and admit her feelings to Ranbir. Mihika thanks her. She goes to get ready. Prachi weeps. Shahana asks her why is she hurting herself.
Ranbir thinks Prachi has to talk to him, so she asked him to stay back. Mihika comes to meet him. He tells that he was thinking of someone else. She asks who. He asks why is she behaving like his girlfriend. She tells that she has become his fiancée now. He tries to clear the matter. She tells that she wants to tell him something. Akshay hinders their conversation. He argues with Ranbir. Mihika worriedly stops them. Akshay tells that Ranbir was his friend before. He asks Ranbir to come and spend time with him. Ranbir refuses. Akshay compels him and takes him to the rooftop.
Mihika misses to tell her feelings to Ranbir. She rehearses her confession. Akshay asks Ranbir to have a drink. He tells that they are going to become relatives now, which means their friendship is over. They both drink. Ranbir asks him what he wants to talk about. Akshay says that he just wants to chill. Ranbir calls him a liar. Akshay tells that even Ranbir is a big liar. Ranbir asks him to speak up. He tells that Akshay has spoken a lie and accused him. Akshay tells that it was true. He angers Ranbir and asks him to tell the truth. Ranbir tells that he has already told him the truth. Akshay laughs that Ranbir doesn’t dare to tell the truth. Ranbir tells that he had tried to kiss Prachi, but she slapped him.
Akshay tells that he has seen this moment and wanted Ranbir to admit it. Ranbir asks why didn’t he do anything if he had seen them. He asks Akshay to try to kiss Prachi, if she pushes him away then he will get beaten up. He threatens Akshay. Akshay tells that Prachi is his wife. Ranbir asks him how long will he act as Prachi’s husband. He tells that he is aware of the truth that Prachi and Akshay aren’t married for real. Prachi tries avoiding Shahana’s questions. She doesn’t want to answer anything. Shahana tells that she should have not helped Mihika. Prachi tells that she was just helping Mihika. Shahana asks her not to run away but to face her life. Prachi asks her not to push her to get mad for Ranbir again.

Shahana tells that Ranbir never hurt or cheat Prachi, he has always cared and respected her and always loved her. She asks her not to punish Ranbir. Prachi reminds that Ranbir has doubted Siddharth and her affair. She asks why did Ranbir get engaged to Mihika. Shahana tells that Ranbir asked Prachi to elope with him, but she refused. She doesn’t want Prachi to ruin her life. She feels Prachi deserves love in her life. She calls Prachi wrong. Prachi packs her bag for the Manali trip. Akshay asks how dare Ranbir say that. Ranbir asks Akshay why didn’t they perform the Teej ritual if the marriage is real.
Akshay asks how does he know Prachi well. Ranbir tells that he knows her well and he doesn’t see love in her eyes for Akshay. He asks Akshay to stay jealous, but not accuse him. Akshay accepts that Prachi and he have no relationship of a husband and wife. He tells that he has booked a honeymoon suite, the business trip is actually a romantic trip, and its their secret, everything will change once they reach Manali. He asks Ranbir to think what will happen on their honeymoon. He advises Ranbir to stay away, else he will die of jealousy seeing their closeness. Ranbir loses his cool. He tells that Prachi is only of him.
On the other hand, Dida finds Pallavi breaking down. She asks Pallavi not to force Ranbir. Pallavi cries for Ranbir. She tells that Ranbir didn’t come home because of Prachi. Dida asks her to think positive. She tells that Ranbir will come home soon. Pallavi tells that Prachi takes his life’s decisions. She gets angry on Prachi. Dida asks her not to compare herself with Prachi. Pallavi tells that Dida won’t understand her. Dida wonders if Pallavi and Prachi will get to good terms ever. Vishaka calls Akshay for a talk. She asks where was he. She finds him drunk.
She asks what’s happening. He tells that he called Ranbir to the terrace for drinks, because he wanted to tell Ranbir that he is Prachi’s husband and he is taking her on honeymoon. She asks the reason for revealing his plan. She wants to know what he is thinking. He tells that he is angered after knowing Ranbir and Prachi’s truth. He adds that he hired a detective and got to know the truth. He shows Ranbir and Prachi’s marriage pictures to Vishaka. She can’t believe it. She tells him that he should have not revealed anything to Ranbir. Akshay tells that he will win the challenge. Ranbir reaches Mihika to tell her the truth. He tells her that he loves Prachi. Mihika is stunned.
