Madhuri compliments Vikrant and discusses the potential of their relationship. When Kirti meets up with Vikrant, she asks him about not being ready for their coffee date yet. He reveals his idea of having coffee at his place instead. After some hesitation, Kirti agrees. As they enter his home, Vikrant playfully pretends it’s a fancy cafe. While Kirti is unaware, Vikrant grabs the red cloth she stepped on and keeps it with him. As Vikrant serves Kirti a Cappuccino, he eagerly awaits her honest review. Her praise for his coffee-making skills leads to friendly teasing, as she suggests he should become a barista.
Smiling, Vikrant brings up the recent events at the Mores house, which Sudhakar had informed him about. Kirti confirms that Dadi has a strong affection for Shreyas and their clash resulted in Kirti facing Dadi’s wrath. She adds that Dadi’s growing fondness for Puru made it difficult for Kirti and Puru to leave the house. Sensing Kirti’s hurt self-respect, Vikrant subtly questions Dadi’s true motives towards Puru. He offers her a solution – to stay at his place where there is an available room. However, understanding the importance of consulting with Madhuri first, Kirti asks for some time to think it over.
Agreeing with her request, Vikrant shows her his mother’s room and opens up about her illness. Sympathizing with him, Kirti bids goodbye and leaves his home. As he looks at a photo frame of his mother, Vikrant whispers that Kirti is special. As Vikrant works in the lab, he discusses the mutual assistance between himself and Kirti. However, when Kirti enters and calls to him, he feigns deafness. As she approaches, she loses her footing but is swiftly caught by Vikrant before tumbling to the ground. Vikrant warns Bittu of the ongoing investigation and urges him to leave Panchghat before the authorities arrive. Fearful, Bittu obeys Vikrant’s directive. Meanwhile, at school, a senior librarian makes inappropriate advances towards Kirti, causing her distress. She immediately reports the incident to the principal. On another front, Vikrant manipulates Jadhav into removing some posters. Later, he becomes enraged upon learning of the librarian’s misconduct towards Kirti. While in the chemistry lab, Vikrant recites poetry reflecting his expectations for a relationship with Kirti. Interestingly, Kirti can be seen in the school lobby holding several files. Vikrant creates a romantic moment with Kirti, and she seems in love with him.
