Kumkum Bhagya 19th October 2023 Written Update Truth hits Prachi. Ashok suggests Prachi visit her house to see Dadi and Shahana and possibly take a break from the ongoing drama at home. Prachi remains quiet. Later, Divya informs Mihika that Ashok wants Prachi to come over and may suspect her involvement. Mihika reassures Divya that Ashok is unaware of the truth. They discuss how Divya attempted to harm Prachi before she overhears them. Confused, Prachi asks Mihika if this is true. Realizing it’s time for a face-to-face conversation with Prachi, Mihika asks Divya to leave.

She then explains to Prachi that Khushi needs to be removed as she is the main obstacle in bringing Ranbir and Prachi together. Khushi informs Ashok and the rest of the group that she plans to go on a picnic with Akshay and Mihika. Mihika confidently tells Prachi that she will prove her wrong as Ranbir will choose to be with her/Mihika instead. She then urges Prachi to imagine Ranbir in her embrace going forward. Mohan and Radha arrive in Gungun’s room and she reassures them that she is doing well. Radha entrusts Lord Krishna to Gungun’s care, placing the idol on the table. Mohan promises Gungun that they will return soon, while Tulsi agrees to stay with her. Radha reminds Gungun that she will also have another maternal figure by her side. She expresses confidence in their support from Mohan and Lord Krishna, ensuring victory for them. Rahul expresses concern for Gungun, but Kadambari assures him that she will be safe. Meanwhile, Mohan and Radha reach Maldives for a business trip, missing Gungun’s presence. Despite this, they cannot let the organizer know about their worries as this contract is crucial for their family’s success. Suddenly, a man claps and accuses them of being more focused on money than passion for their work.

Manpreet urges Ashok to agree with her decision, but he insists that there is no other option. She reassures him that they will find an alternative solution. However, their discussion quickly turns into an argument. As they are arguing, Visakha approaches them. Realizing that someone else is present, Ashok and Manpreet halt their disagreement. Visakha inquires about the topic of their conversation. Manpreet informs her that Ashok wants to send their children, Akshay and Mihika, to a mental asylum and has already spoken to a doctor about it. She then gives Ashok an ultimatum, threatening to stop eating and even end her life if he goes through with his plan. Manpreet leaves the room after making her stance clear. Visakha also voices her support for Manpreet’s perspective and declares that Akshay and Mihika will not be going anywhere.

An argument ensues between Prachi and Mihika, with the latter accusing Prachi of attempting to take Ranbir away from her. However, Prachi explains that she is simply repaying a debt to Ranbir. The argument intensifies when Mihika brings her daughter Khushi into the conversation. In response, Prachi warns Mihika to keep her distance from Khushi and threatens repercussions if any harm comes to her. She then storms off, leaving Mihika convinced that she will soon witness Prachi’s true wrath. Meanwhile, Manpreet urges Visakha to persuade Ashok to reconsider his decision. Visakha assures him that Akshay and Mihika have no plans of leaving. However, Manpreet expresses concern about how mental patients are treated at the asylum in question.

Khushi notices tears in Manpreet’s eyes and asks what happened. Manpreet explains that dust got into her eyes. Visakha then asks Khushi to inform Ashok that she wants to go on a picnic with Akshay and Mihika, emphasizing how much she loves them. Khushi agrees to pass on the message. Manpreet expressed concern to Visakha about using their children in this way. Visakha responds by stating that if Ashok grants Khushi’s request, their children may be able to stay longer in the house. Meanwhile, Mihika approaches Akshay and tells him about Prachi’s warning to stay within her limits, as she finds out about Mihika’s attempt to harm her. Mihika requests Akshay to take care of Prachi before leaving the room.

Akshay tells Abhay that Ranbir and Prachi need to be separated for him to have a chance with her. Khushi approaches Ashok with a request, causing him to feel conflicted. Visakha and Manpreet inquire about Khushi’s conversation with Ashok. Khushi informs them that she wants to plan a picnic with Akshay and Mihika. After some hesitation, Ashok agrees to Khushi’s proposal. However, this brings up memories for Mihika of Prachi’s previous actions. As a result, Mihika decides to confront Prachi about it. She begins arguing with Prachi and questions why she didn’t tell the truth to everyone.

Prachi explains that telling the truth would only hurt Ashok. Mihika urges her to stop pretending and assures her that she will not believe it. She then advises Prachi to let go of Ranbir as he will only be with her. Mihika suggests that Khushi needs to remove herself from Ranbir’s life as well. However, Prachi argues that Ranbir would never allow Khushi to do so since she is his daughter. Mihika confidently declares that she will make it happen. Prachi uses Rhea as an example and argues that love cannot be forced. Despite this, Mihika remains determined to prove Prachi wrong and leaves the conversation.

Akshay hands a money envelope to someone, requesting that they speed up the process of getting Ranbir to sign the deal. The individual agrees and departs from the room. Ashok shares with Manpreet and Visakha that he won’t immediately send Akshay and Mihika to a mental asylum. Manpreet is overjoyed by this news. Soon, everyone gathers around the dining table. After Mihika and Ranbir join them, Mihika offers Ranbir some pickles, but Prachi stops him, reminding him that the doctor didn’t approve of it. Ranbir respects Prachi’s wishes and refrains from eating it. Akshay is hurt by Prachi’s concern for Ranbir and decides to kill her as a result.
