Kumkum Bhagya 23rd October 2023 Written Update Akshay’s madness. Akshay’s hired goon stabs Ranbir, causing him to fall ill. Prachi becomes worried about Ranbir and soon Mihika arrives in her car to find him bleeding on the road. Mihika quickly helps Ranbir into her car and rushes him to the hospital. Mihika urges Ranbir to open his eyes and after a while, he complies. Her sense of relief is palpable when the doctor arrives and assesses the stab wounds as non-critical. He assures them that with some rest, Ranbir will make a full recovery. Ranbir expresses his gratitude to the doctor who hands over the prescription to Mihika. Raghu and his gang gather outside Akshay’s home.
He receives a call from Raghu, which Ashok notices. Ashok then advises Akshay to investigate the persistent caller, who appears to be Raghu. Without hesitation, Akshay grabs a knife to teach Raghu a lesson. All of this is observed by Ashok from a distance. Akshay insists that Prachi stop caring for Ranbir, claiming to be her husband while dismissing Ranbir’s importance. However, Prachi asserts that Akshay is not her spouse.
Raghu’s men have Akshay in their grasp. He reminds Akshay that if he was willing to take Ranbir’s life for money, he could just as easily do the same to Akshay. Meanwhile, Ashok overhears their conversation and reacts by striking Akshay. Later, Ashok confided in Manpreet that Akshay had hired some thugs to eliminate Ranbir. Raghu informs Akshay that he is waiting outside his house. In response, Akshay urges Raghu not to enter and promises to join him promptly. However, upon arriving, Akshay grabs a knife to teach Raghu a lesson. He proceeds to restrain Raghu and warns him against making further threats, adding that he could easily hire other criminals to eliminate him. In retaliation, Raghu breaks free from Akshay’s hold and demands the money owed for their previous agreement – the murder of Ranbir. Just then, Ashok steps in and slaps Akshay.

Seeing an opportunity, Ashok decides to involve the authorities and reveal Akshay’s actions. Fearing the consequences, the goons quickly flee upon hearing about the police. However, Akshay stops Ashok from making the call, pointing out that he would end up in jail if they proceed. Ashok questions if he has no shame for his choices, but Akshay remains unapologetic and justifies his actions as justified in his eyes. A heated argument ensues between them until Ashok tries reasoning with Akshay to no avail. Finally, Akshay shuts down any further discussion from Ashok. Ashok expresses his apologies to Manpreet, acknowledging his inability to intervene in the current situation.
Seeing Ashok visibly distressed, Manpreet offers to bring him some water. Meanwhile, Mihika arrives with Ranbir. Ashok notices Ranbir and inquires about his well-being. Ranbir reassures him that he is fine. Ashok and Manpreet discover that Ranbir was attacked by a group of goons. Mihika ensures that Ranbir gets some rest. Prachi catches wind of Ranbir’s arrival and decides to check on him. However, Akshay halts her, questioning why she is avoiding him and reminding her of their marital status. He urges Prachi to let go of thoughts about Ranbir.
Prachi responds by reminding Akshay that they are not truly married, and reiterates the circumstances under which they are pretending to be husband and wife. Mihika escorts Ranbir to his room and inquires about his strong concern for Prachi. However, he reminds her that he has already explained the reason behind it. While Mihika steps out to use the washroom, Ranbir makes up his mind to announce their separation. As he attempts to fetch water, Prachi appears and prevents him from falling. Mihika returns and questions Prachi’s presence. To which she replies that she just saved Ranbir from an accident. Prachi also checks on Ranbir’s well-being, to which he responds positively.

Eventually, they both leave the room together. Ashok and Manpreet realize that Ranbir is in danger, which explains Prachi’s urgent shouts. Visakha then arrives and informs them that they need to take Prachi to the hospital as she claims Ranbir has returned home. Upon hearing this news, Manpreet confirms with Visakha that Ranbir did indeed return home while Ashok reiterates the fact that he was truly in peril when Prachi raised an alarm about his safety. Visakha is skeptical and wonders how this could be possible. However, Ashok and Manpreet assert confidently that their strong bond allows them to sense each other’s emotions.
Yet, Visakha questions what about Akshay and Mihika in this situation. Mihika approaches Prachi and inquires about her current actions. Prachi responds that she is on her way to check on Ranbir’s well-being. However, Mihika warns Prachi to stay away from Ranbir. As she grips Prachi’s hand, she cautions her once more. Without hesitation, Prachi pulls away and announces that she will not permit Mihika to marry Ranbir. She firmly declares that she has recognized the danger Mihika poses to her daughter and thus, will not allow the wedding to proceed.
In response, Mihika challenges Prachi by revealing that Ranbir intends to announce their wedding attire selection today as they are getting married in two days. Abhay approaches Akshay and informs him that he overheard his conversation with Prachi. Curiously, he questions why Akshay is pressuring Prachi into a relationship when she has made it clear from the start that her heart belongs to Ranbir. Annoyed, Akshay dismisses Abhay’s concerns and declares that Prachi’s feelings are irrelevant to him because he loves her. Upon hearing this, Ranbir confides in Khushi about his fear today and she rushes to get a sacred thread to tie around his wrist. Meanwhile, Akshay observes that Ranbir is alive in his room and realizes that Raghu did not harm him.
