In a fit of anger, Reyansh physically confronts Jai, and the ring they were discussing falls to the ground. Aradhna intervenes and chastises Reyansh, who then accuses Jai of lacking shame and tries to assert his claim over Aradhna. Bhakti pleads with Harsh to intervene, while a stranger questions the propriety of Aradhna’s behavior. The crowd begins to gossip, making Aradhna anxious. Reyansh orders her to leave him alone, but before she can comply, Jai punches him and a fight breaks out. The onlookers blame Aradhna’s family for the chaos. She eventually spots the fallen ring and asks Jai if he will marry her, shocking Reyansh. Jai insists on Aradhna wearing the ring, causing Reyansh to feel dejected. Aradhna reassures him that her marriage will still take place, and that he doesn’t need to be present. Reyansh protests, claiming that she can only love him.
However, Aradhna stands firm in her decision not to marry him due to the pain he has caused her and her loyalty to Kimaya. She believes that love should not be difficult and wants to find happiness instead. Aradhna trusts Jai to treat her well and not hurt or disrespect her parents like Reyansh has done. Despite Reyansh’s objection, Bhakti intervenes and reminds him of Aradhna’s choice to marry Jai willingly. She urges him to leave them be and respect their decision. With a heavy heart, Reyansh falls to his knees and pleads for Aradhna’s forgiveness.
But Bhakti stands by Aradhna’s side as she holds onto Jai’s hand and leaves with a heavy heart. Jai inquires about the reason behind her actions, to which she responds that she has no other option. He assures her that she did nothing wrong and then asks about his unfulfilled dreams, which he feels are insignificant compared to hers. She explains that the decision was hers to make and she is choosing to move forward with her life. To this, Jai declares his unconditional support and proclaims his love for her. However, Aradhna clarifies that while she cannot reciprocate his love, she values their friendship, respect, and partnership. Jai accepts this with understanding and she reflects on how history seems to be repeating itself. Meanwhile, an intoxicated Reyansh expresses his intention to harm Jai for stealing Aradhna from him.

The two engage in a heated argument but Reyansh eventually walks away after accusing Jai of manipulating the situation in his favor and ruining him by exploiting his vulnerability. The next morning, Bhakti speaks to Jai over the phone and urges him to bring his parents home. As Reyansh crosses paths with Malini. Jai receives an unexpected visit from his mother, whom he informs about Aradhna. Intrigued, his mother expresses interest in meeting Aradhna. As soon as Aradhna sees Malini at the door, Malini warmly embraces her with a smile. Bhakti asks how she came to be there, to which Malini explains that she heard about Aradhna and Jai getting engaged. With a nod from Aradhna, Malini confirms her support for their relationship, stating that Jai is a kind-hearted person who will make her happy.
Concerned for her wellbeing, Aradhna checks on Malini’s emotional state after losing a daughter. Unfortunately, things between Viren and Malini are not the same anymore and she plans to stay with them for a few days. She then reveals Reyansh’s plan to harm Jai. This news worries Aradhna and Bhakti chimes in asking what happened. In response, Malini emphasizes the importance of keeping Reyansh away from Jai if they want to see Aradhna happy again.
