Udaariyaan 12th December 2023 Written Update Alia stoops. Sukhi angrily hurts Rano, leaving her injured. A shocked Aasma witnesses the incident and inquires about Rano’s wound. Aasma suggests informing others, but Rano insists on keeping it a secret. She reveals that Sukhi hit her because of Aasma and suggests talking to Ekam for an apology. Aasma agrees to speak with him but reminds Rano that Sukhi should never lay hands on her again. However, Rano dismisses her concerns and asks her not to interfere, confiding in Aasma as a friend. She begs Aasma not to tell Armaan, but she feels obligated to share the truth with her husband, who is also part of the family.
Rano pleads with her not to reveal anything or else she will die, even swearing about it. Curious about the situation, Armaan’s mother asks him not to get involved and sends him away for dinner. Bebe advises Aasma against involving herself in the situation, stating that it is not wise to interfere in others’ affairs. As an elder in the house, she refrains from getting involved. Aasma wonders why Bebe isn’t taking action against the wrongdoing of raising a hand on someone else. Bebe repeats her earlier statement about not poking her head into it. Aasma insists that she cannot let it happen again. In response, Bebe requests her to leave. While lost in thought, Armaan asks Aasma what is bothering her.
Alia tells Raja that Aasma is not talking to her because of him. She questions whether Aasma is plotting against her, but Raja reassures her that she wouldn’t lie. Desperate for assistance, Alia asks him to eavesdrop on their conversation and update her. He agrees to do so. Armaan prompts Aasma to share what’s troubling her, causing her to realize she can’t keep the secret from him any longer. Just as she is about to confess, Raja arrives on the scene. Raja expresses his regret to Aasma for his mistakes and she forgives him. As they begin washing the dishes, Alia observes Sukhi approaching them. She immediately informs him of Armaan’s assistance to Aasma. Sukhi reprimands Armaan and orders him to stop helping her.
This angers Armaan, but Alia is pleased by the situation. Sukhi then requests to speak with Armaan privately and criticizes him for doing household work that is typically seen as a woman’s task. However, Armaan defends himself by stating that there is nothing wrong with helping his wife. This sparks an argument between the two men. Rano intervenes and asks them to calm down, but Sukhi insists on speaking to Armaan directly without any interference from her. Aasma points out that she had also apologized to Sukhi, questioning what was wrong with her husband helping her.
She reminds Sukhi that there are no restrictions in religious stories about men assisting women. Alia reminds Aasma not to speak to Dad in such a manner, as he is an older individual. Instead, she encourages her to engage in a respectful conversation. Aasma retorts by explaining that she is simply having a discussion with her father and not showing any disrespect. She also mentions the fact that women work all day and that men can assist by sharing some of their responsibilities. Alia agrees, stating that they provide food, clothing, and shelter for women and should treat them equally.
Alia continues supporting Sukhi to gain his favor, even going as far as provoking him against Aasma by bringing up her Canadian background. However, Sukhi seems to understand Alia’s intentions but believes Aasma needs more time to comprehend. He expresses this frustration to his wife, which pleases Alia. Later on, she notices Sukhi under the influence of alcohol and decides to take advantage of the situation. Meanwhile, Armaan notices something amiss with Aasma and questions her about it over a meal. Although she denies anything being wrong, Alia makes her move by sneaking into Rano’s room and assaulting her while she sleeps.
