YRKKH 13th December 2023 Written Update Armaan’s truth. Armaan beseeches Kaveri to give Abhira a chance, stating that everything has changed in her life. Sanjay becomes emotional and accuses Abhira of trapping him. However, Armaan defends her, acknowledging that she is now his responsibility. While Sanjay believes Abhira is unsuitable for their family, Armaan doesn’t force Kaveri to accept her. He simply asks her to allow Abhira to remain in the house. This resonates with Armaan’s father, who recalls a similar incident in the past but couldn’t stand up for his wife. He commends Armaan for taking a stand. Later, Armaan pleads with Kaveri once again to let Abhira stay in the house.
Meanwhile, Sanjay receives a congratulatory message and wonders who could be congratulating them after the wedding. As Kaveri watches the news, the media covers Armaan’s wedding. Kaveri is being praised by the reporters for her open-mindedness in accepting Abhira without knowing her background. However, they give Armaan a disapproving look. Vidya then asks Kaveri for permission to help arrange Abhira’s Mu dikhai function. Despite feeling like things are out of their control, Kaveri ultimately grants permission. Meanwhile, Abhira is studying while Armaan offers her noodles. When she declines, he jokes that he can hear a rat running on her empty stomach.
Armaan invites Abhira to try the noodles and she happily accepts. As she savors the flavor, a wave of nostalgia hits her and she explains to Armaan that it reminds her of her mom’s cooking. He mentions trying a similar dish at his resort, which prompts Abhira to ask if he has another serving. Armaan brings her another bowl and encourages her to eat since she hasn’t had anything yet. Sitting next to her, he assures her that he doesn’t mind sharing the food with him, even though she usually only shares with her mom. Surprised by this, Abhira learns that Armaan comes from a large family where sharing food is common.
However, when Ruhi overhears their conversation and runs away upset, Armaan apologizes for any misunderstanding and tries to reassure Ruhi. But Ruhi remains skeptical. Armaan explains to Ruhi that they have entered into an agreement for their marriage. When she asks for clarification, he discloses that Abhira will live with him for a year before they get divorced. The reason behind this decision is that neither of them wishes to continue the relationship.
They have chosen to cohabitate until Abhira finishes law school. They are simply roommates living together. Ruhi expresses concern about his family’s reaction, but Armaan acknowledges that at least he has family who can be angry with him. Abhira, on the other hand, has no one due to losing her mother because of their arrangement. Ruhi suggests that Abhira stay in a hostel instead, but Armaan refuses, citing safety concerns and his responsibility to protect her. He hopes that by living with his family, she will gain a sense of belonging. Armaan pleads with Ruhi not to disclose this information to anyone else in the family, as Kaveri would not understand his reasoning.
Armaan confides in Ruhi about his responsibility towards Abhira and admits that he made a mistake in front of everyone. However, he assures her that he is capable of handling it. Curious, Ruhi questions why he chose to reveal this to her, as it could have caused her to resent him. Armaan explains that he has no one else to share his burden with and asks for her help in being a friend to Abhira who feels lonely in their home. He acknowledges Ruhi’s kindness and she wonders why she should assist him. Armaan clarifies that their family does not know the truth about Abhira’s past. Relieved, Ruhi agrees to lend her support. As Abhira studies, she becomes aware of her family members’ watchful eyes. She finds their behavior peculiar and wonders why Manoj and Manisha are constantly keeping an eye on her.
The siblings were earlier discussing Abhira but leave when they notice her. At the same time, Armaan approaches Vidya and embraces her in apology, which she graciously accepts. With a loving tone, Vidya reminds him that she is his mother and encourages him to fulfill all the rituals with sincerity, despite not marrying her out of love. Armaan expresses his gratitude to Vidya for her efforts on behalf of Abhira. In response, Vidya assures him that she is doing it for him and not for herself. She explains that if he had reciprocated her feelings, then she would have gladly accepted Abhira as a member of the family. However, since he does not share the same sentiment, she cannot hide the fact that she doesn’t like Abhira.
Despite this, Armaan promises to take responsibility and attempts to persuade Abhira to participate in the mu dikhai function. But Abhira refuses, citing the previous incident where Armaan’s family insulted her. She confesses that she cannot face such humiliation again, especially with Dadi waiting for an opportunity to publicly mock her. As Kaveri and Sanjay greet the guests, Vidya brings Ruhi into the room where they overhear Abhira shouting. The guests start gossiping about them, causing Kaveri to feel embarrassed.
