Upon arriving in the USA, Anupama is greeted by the country. As she heads towards the arrival area, she spots a family and stands in awe. Manish notices her expression and inquires about her thoughts. Anupama reveals her desire to establish her own identity. When Manish offers his assistance, Anupama declines, determined to work hard on her own. Sometime later, Manish addresses Anupama as “Joshi” and questions why she is hiding her true identity.
Anupama explains that she has been working undercover. Encouraged by Santa Claus, who hands her a key to happiness, Anupama motivates herself to keep moving forward. Getting into a car, she requests the cab driver to take her to a Gujarati restaurant while also sharing her new number with Devika. Upon seeing the city from the window, Devika urges Anupama to appreciate its beauty and worth. As they pass by buildings, Anupama takes pictures with them. Arriving at the Indian restaurant, Anupama is asked by the cab driver for 35 dollars. She refuses, prompting the driver to consider calling the police. However, after some consideration, Anupama hands over the money and resolves to walk in the future.
Her next stop is the Gujarati restaurant, where a stranger informs her that the shop she planned to visit is closed. Anupama attempts to gather more information, but the lady she speaks to can only confirm that the shop is indeed closed. Feeling anxious about her situation in a new country without a job, Anupama wonders how she will manage to survive. She tries to contact Devika for help but finds her phone unreachable. Left with no other option, Anupama looks around for assistance while being secretly watched by a stranger. As Anupama ponders for assistance, she encounters a beggar on the street.
Remembering her lessons on charity, she continues on her way, only to be followed by a stranger. The stalking persists until Anupama stops to rest on the road with her belongings. Recalling her teachings to aid those in need, she becomes a victim of an attack by some thugs who make off with her possessions and purse. Despite losing everything and screaming in distress, Anupama remains steadfast and optimistic.
