Bhagya Lakshmi 25th December 2023 Written Update Warning. Rishi sets off to retrieve Lakshmi from the mental asylum, hopping on his bike and making his way there. Upon arriving at Balwinder’s home, Ayush discovers it locked and inquires with the neighbors about his whereabouts. He later discovers that Balwinder has been released from jail and constantly fights with his wife. In frustration, Ayush ponders how he can locate Balwinder. Meanwhile, Balwinder can be seen stumbling down the road while under the influence of alcohol. Feeling restless at the asylum, Lakshmi writes Rishi’s name on the ground and silently expresses her dissatisfaction with her current living conditions. She hopes for Rishi to arrive soon and shares her frustrations about the doctor with him in her mind.
Bani tells Shalu they must act quickly to remove Lakshmi from the mental asylum, otherwise she may become truly insane. Shalu encourages Bani to stay positive and reminds her that Rishi and Ayush are working on getting Lakshmi released. Ayush calls Shalu with an update, confirming that Balwinder is now out of jail. He assures them both that their suspicions are correct, as Ayush has spotted Balwinder. Bani concludes that this means Rano must also be involved with Balwinder. Ayush questions why they would jump to such a conclusion. Shalu explains her belief that Rano brought Lakshmi home to rid their family of her presence once and for all. She adds that Rano will do whatever it takes for money.

However, Ayush points out that Balwinder is very poor and has no money to offer Rano. Therefore, he believes Rano is innocent in this situation. As luck would have it, just then Balwinder stumbles onto the road in a drunken state. Mistaking him for someone else, Rishi urges him to move out of the way. Ayush spots Rishi riding his bike and realizes that he needs to intervene as Rishi is headed towards the mental asylum. However, Ayush’s attention is diverted when he sees Balwinder on the road. He grapples with the decision of whether to pursue Rishi or catch Balwinder. Meanwhile, Malishka excitedly dances with Sonal and muses about a future where she and Rishi will be together.
Despite his dilemma, Ayush ultimately decides to go after Rishi because if he doesn’t intervene, Rishi may end up in jail. Upon reaching the mental asylum, Rishi tries to enter but is stopped by security guards who threaten to call the police. Ayush arrives and pleads with Rishi, reminding him that going to jail would be pointless. He suggests they leave instead. As they make their escape, Rishi promises Lakshmi that he will return for her soon. She begs him to take her with them immediately, but he assures her that he will come back for her. They make their getaway from there together.
Harleen inquires with Ayush about the possibility of removing Lakshmi from the mental asylum. Ayush declines and explains that the security has been increased, adding that Rishi could have faced imprisonment if he hadn’t intervened. Harleen agrees with his decision. The following day, Lakshmi wakes up to discover that Rishi is no longer by her side.
