Bhagya Lakshmi 28th December 2023 Written Update Neelam’s stand. Neelam reassures Rishi that they will warmly welcome Lakshmi once she is cured. In the meantime, she encourages him to focus on his work and family. She wonders why he views them as enemies. Rishi quickly clarifies that he has never seen her as an enemy. He then expresses how important Lakshmi is to him, as essential as breathing. Neelam reminds him that he is also a son of their household and urges him to fulfill his responsibilities. She requests that he does not pressure her into anything that may cause conflict between them.
With that, Neelam takes her leave. Shalu and Bani are discussing Lakshmi’s situation and the need to get her out of the mental asylum. Shalu suggests that they could offer money to the doctor as a means of getting Lakshmi released. Bani questions where they would get such a large sum from, to which Shalu mentions Balwinder and Rano’s possible involvement. She proposes using the money given to Rano to bribe the doctor. They then decide to search their house for any extra funds. Meanwhile, Lakshmi receives an electric shock during her treatment and loses consciousness. Ayush reaches out to Rishi with their plan to rescue Lakshmi, and Rishi confirms that he is ready to put his plan into action. Ayush agrees with his approach.
Neelam and Karishma express concern for Rishi, who seems to be consumed by thoughts of Lakshmi. To ease their worries, Malishka steps in and assures them that she will ensure Rishi focuses on his work. The two women gratefully thank her for taking on this responsibility. The doctor inquires about Rishi’s problem, aware that Lakshmi requires treatment. Rishi dismisses his thoughts and demands the doctor to release Lakshmi. The doctor, unimpressed, tears the cheque and tosses it at Rishi’s face.

Rishi questions the doctor’s actions. The doctor responds that he cannot be bought with money. Rishi realizes that the doctor prioritizes money over Lakshmi’s well-being. He warns the doctor that any harm caused to Lakshmi will result in him being held responsible. In a fit of anger, Rishi storms out. The doctor considers accepting Rishi’s money and letting Lakshmi go but decides against it as it could lead to exposure and cancellation of his license. Neelam and Karishma remain hopeful that Malishka will follow through with her promise to return Rishi’s bag to normal.
