Kumkum Bhagya 2nd January 2024 Written Update Ashutosh exposed. RV tells Ashutosh that it hurts him when someone speaks poorly of him. He urges Ashutosh to tell the truth in front of everyone, otherwise he will be forced to take action that Ashutosh may not like. While Ashutosh maintains his innocence, RV makes it clear that he is prepared to expose Ashutosh in front of everyone. This prompts Rosy, who is a dancer, to speak up and inform Ashutosh that he left his purse in the room. However, Ashutosh quickly denies that it belongs to him. Rosy apologizes to Purvi for her actions in the dressing room, where she got close to Ashutosh due to temptation.
RV encourages Rosy to have the courage to tell the truth and assures her that she did the right thing. However, Ashutosh continues to deny any involvement with Rosy and claims he doesn’t even know her. RV then reveals that he has additional evidence- CCTV footage of the bachelor party where Ashutosh and Rosy can be seen dancing together. He asks Ashutosh if he wants him to obtain the footage, but Ashutosh remains silent. Eventually, RV decides to leave because he doesn’t want anyone to blame Purvi for what happened. Ashutosh assures Purvi of his innocence and asks her to trust him. He suggests that if she has any doubts, they can end their marriage immediately.
He accuses Purvi of having feelings for RV and lying because of it. Prachi reacts by slapping Ashutosh. Meanwhile, RV informs Yug about the incident. Later, Khushi arrives at the hotel for Purvi’s Sangeet. As she passes by RV, they unknowingly miss seeing each other. Bina inquires of Prachi how she plans to strike Ashutosh. Prachi responds that if anyone were to utter unkind words about Purvi in her presence, she would not hesitate to retaliate. This sparks Bina’s accusation against Prachi’s family for setting up Ashutosh and trying to end the engagement. In turn, Prachi’s family questions Ashutosh’s family why they continue to defend him despite knowing he is with another woman at his Sangeet.
Khushi interrupts and asks what is going on, prompting Purvi to embrace her. Khushi then asks Purvi to explain the situation, while Ashutosh urges Khushi to end this theatrics. Rajvansh realizes he left his phone at the Sangeet hall, so he makes a trip back to the hotel to retrieve it. Prachi reminds Ashutosh to choose his words carefully and declares her daughters to be her pride. Bina speaks disparagingly of Purvi. Prachi urges Bina to refrain from making assumptions about Purvi without knowing the full story.
She praises Purvi’s selflessness, citing an instance where Purvi used all her savings for victims of a fire accident at the Pandal. Prachi believes this is a testament to Purvi’s character. Suresh’s sister remarks that RV favors Purvi, which explains why he is going to such lengths for her. In response, Prachi points out their family’s hypocrisy during Jasveer’s attempt to marry Purvi during the engagement ceremony and reminds them that it was RV who saved Purvi, not them.
