Kumkum Bhagya 5th January 2024 Written Update RV rescues Purvi. Hermal and Dada Ji argue about something. Dada ji apologizes to Harleen for making her married to his son. Dadaji comments on his son. Hermal asks Dadaji how can he be mad at him just because he beat him in chess. Harleen asks Hermal to apologize to Dadaji for defeating him in chess if not she will not make his favorite food. Hermal agrees and apologizes to Dadaji. Dadaji asks RV to return home soon as today is family cricket time. RV agrees. Khushi and Purvi come to the street. Purvi’s neighbors criticize Purvi. Khushi goes to the neighbors and argues with them.
Khushi reminds Kusum of Prachi’s support during a difficult time when her daughter eloped, causing judgment from the neighbors. Kusum remains silent while Khushi expresses her thoughts. The two eventually depart, leaving Purvi to walk back home and call Diya. Purvi mentions seeing RV in the area, making Diya contemplate their frequent encounters as fate. She comments on it, and Ashok and Vishaka see a news report about riots in the city, warning people not to leave their homes for safety reasons. Ashok contacts Purvi to inquire about her whereabouts. She informs him that she is en route back home.
He offers to join her there, but she reassures him that it is unnecessary and decides to take an auto directly to the house. However, during the ride, the driver becomes frightened upon witnessing ongoing riots and abandons the vehicle. In the chaos, one of the rioters attempts to harm Purvi, but RV intervenes and reprimands them for their actions towards a woman. RV then quickly grabs Purvi’s hand and flees from the scene. The rioters capture RV and Purvi, causing Purvi to plead for their release.
One of the rioters then questions Purvi about her relationship with RV. Without hesitation, Purvi describes RV as her Bhagya, or destiny, due to his constant help in times of trouble. However, things take a violent turn as the rioters attack RV. In a desperate attempt to save themselves, Purvi throws dirt in the rioters’ eyes and leads RV away from danger. Taking cover behind a nearby car, RV notices that its trunk is open and suggests hiding inside. Agreeing with the plan, Purvi scurries into the trunk while RV follows suit. The rioters search for them but are unable to locate them. Eventually, they give up and leave in search of their targets elsewhere.
