Baatein Kuch Ankahee Si Kunal Vandana’s love irks Sonia. Vandana informs Kunal and Sonia about Vaibhav, whom Kunal then confronts. Expressing anger, he warns Vaibhav to keep his distance from Vandana, who is his wife. She takes the car keys from Vaibhav and strikes him in defense. As Vandana and Sonia observe, she rushes to stop Kunal and notices a wound on his hand. She assures him that she did not intend to accidentally tear her saree cloth while fighting off Vaibhav. Taking out a kerchief from her purse, she uses it to bandage Kunal’s injury. Tara comments on how cute they look together, which is agreed upon by Sonia as well. Gratefully, Vandana thanks them for their help.
Vaibhav bids farewell to Vandana, confidently stating that he won’t let Kunal get away with his actions. Hemant expresses doubt about Mrunal’s reliability and mentions the potential harm she could cause in Vandana’s in-laws’ home. Anagha suggests letting Mrunal stay there, but Hemant believes Kunal won’t allow it for long. Anagha agrees, noting that it would be better if Mrunal didn’t marry Vaibhav because he was a terrible person, and the family would benefit from her alliance with a wealthy and good man. When asked who she had in mind, she reveals Bobby as a potential match but adds that Vandana and Mrunal should still stay at their in-laws’ house as it could bring good fortune.
After capturing a photo of the happy moment, Tara receives congratulations from everyone and entrusts the trophy and photo to Vandana’s safekeeping. Vandana promises to protect the trophy and never betray her trust, assuring her of his love. Sonia overhears and becomes envious. Vandana suggests that she express her hurt feelings. Kunal agrees and asks her to tie the bandage. He expresses his gratitude to Vandana. Sonia observes quietly as Vandana shares that Tara is very dear to him. Kunal clarifies that he was praising Vandana, but she insists on being complimented, recalling his previous comment about her mothering skills.
