He informs Arjun that he saw Mahima earlier in the day. Arjun then abruptly ends the call, saying he is headed to the accident site. Aditya fills Kaashvi in on the situation and she suggests that they search for Mahima. Upon arriving at the scene, they split up to cover more ground. Kaashvi eventually finds an unconscious Mahima in a nearby graveyard. As soon as Mahima regains consciousness, she starts attacking Kaashvi, claiming to be possessed. She menacingly warns Kaashvi before Aditya and Arjun arrive just in time to rescue her. The person in charge of the graveyard reveals that Mahima is indeed possessed and attempts to cleanse her with pure water.
Mahima loses consciousness and regains it shortly after. Kaashvi inquires about her attempted harm towards her, to which Mahima claims to have no recollection of the event. She questions how she ended up at the graveyard. Kaashvi grows impatient with Mahima’s denial and demands the truth. Mahima can only recall leaving the training center after meeting Aditya. The person in charge of the graveyard reveals that Mahima was possessed. Aditya suggests bringing her back to the training center for assistance. Yeh Hai Chahatein 9th January 2024 Written Update Kaashvi’s decision:
When the doctor inquires about Mahima’s well-being, she expresses feeling as if someone is staring at her. Arjun reassures her that they are the only ones present. However, Mahima mentions experiencing a severe headache and upon the doctor’s recommendation, Arjun gives her a tablet and leaves. As she regains consciousness, Mahima strategizes about making people believe she is possessed. She recalls waking up after the accident and deciding to use this to her advantage by scaring her into not trying to meet her or Kaashvi again.
She then heads to a nearby graveyard where she meets with the caretaker whom she pays to follow her instructions. Confident in her plan, she believes Arjun will be convinced of her possession upon seeing her in this state. Mahima reassures herself that Arjun won’t take her home in this state because of Karun. She’s grateful they brought her to the training center and decides to move forward with the second part of her plan. Meanwhile, Romila knows that everything is going according to Mahima’s plan. She wonders why Mahima hasn’t contacted her yet, but soon receives a call from her.
Mahima updates Romila on the success of their plan, stating that she will ensure Kaashvi loses both her job and reputation. Mahima warns Kaashvi to leave immediately for her own safety. Hurriedly, Kaashvi contacts both the doctor and Aditya, assuring Mahima that she will soon return to her normal self. To their utter shock, Mahima suddenly levitates in the air before them. Without hesitation, Aditya grabs some holy Ganges water and splashes it on Mahima, causing her to lose consciousness and collapse. Puzzled by this strange behavior, Arjun joins them.
He reveals that the caretaker of a nearby graveyard had given him the blessed water as a precaution. As Mahima regains consciousness and questions if she has been possessed again, Arjun calmly explains that it is not the case. Sensing a need for further expertise, Aditya proposes seeking help from a specialist, which Arjun agrees with. Later on, when Kaashvi enters Mahima’s room once more, she is sternly told to leave by Mahima herself. Unable to tolerate this facade any longer, Kaashvi slaps Mahima and confronts her about her deceitful actions.
