Bhagya Lakshmi 22nd January 2024 Written Update Rishi catches Malishka. Karishma asks Ayush how he fell down the stairs. Harleen Dadi accepts the blame and tells them that she is responsible for Ayush’s injury. She apologizes to them. She asks them not to punish her. Neelam sympathizes with Harleen and says that Harleen didn’t do anything deliberately. Harleen asks Neelam not to stop talking to her. Neelam assures her that she will not stop talking to her. Harleen says that Neelam has stopped talking to Lakshmi by punishing her for a similar incident. She asks Neelam to punish her the same way as she has punished Lakshmi. Harleen supports Lakshmi.
Neelam forgives Lakshmi and realizes her mistake. She thanks Harleen for explaining the matter. Malishka tells Sonal that she had made the chandelier fall over Neelam, she had put Neelam’s life in danger and she did everything just to throw Lakshmi out of the house. She regrets that she failed to break Neelam and Lakshmi’s bond. She wants to marry Rishi. Sonal is shocked to see Rishi at the door. Rishi walks inside the room and holds Malishka’s arm angrily. Earlier in the show, Harleen is concerned about Lakshmi’s well-being, especially since no one in the house is speaking to her. She believes it would be beneficial for Lakshmi to spend some time at Rano’s house where she can talk to her sisters. Ayush approaches Harleen and asks if there is a solution to this predicament. Harleen reassures him that there is indeed a way to address the issue. She suggests sending Lakshmi to Rano’s house, where she will have the support of her sisters. Meanwhile, Virendra unintentionally takes Neelam’s prescription with his work files as he leaves the office for the day. Later on, Malishka visits Neelam and searches for the missing prescription.
Virendra carelessly drops the prescription in the corridor, where Lakshmi quickly retrieves it. She turns to Mukesh and questions him about its purpose. He calmly explains that it is Neelam’s prescription. Without delay, Lakshmi makes her way to Neelam’s room. Upon arrival, Malishka searches for the prescription but cannot find it. She informs Neelam that she knows what medicine she needs and offers to administer it. Neelam agrees. However, before Malishka can give the medication, Lakshmi intervenes. An argument ensues between Malishka and Lakshmi as to what should be done next. In response, Lakshmi simply asks Malishka to read the prescription before proceeding with giving any medicine. However, this sparks another disagreement between them as Malishka claims she does not make mistakes in such matters.
Rishi approaches and inquires about the situation. Malishka reveals that Lakshmi is preventing her from administering medicine to Neelam. Lakshmi defends herself by stating that she simply asked Malishka to double-check the prescription before giving the medicine, as a precaution against any potential errors. However, Malishka confidently insists that she does not make mistakes. Ridhi then intervenes and asks Malishka to name all the medicines listed on the prescription. Unable to do so, Malishka becomes flustered. Rishi takes this opportunity to suggest that Malishka should carefully examine the prescription before administering any medication, to avoid making a mistake. This upsets Malishka, who feels embarrassed in front of Lakshmi. Eventually, Lakshmi leaves the room.
After hearing Dadi’s cries for Ayush, Neelam insists on Malishka taking her to the hall. Without hesitation, Malishka agrees and assists Neelam. With tears in her eyes, Dadi pleads for Ayush to wake up as everyone gathers in the hall. Concerned, Rishi asks what happened to Ayush. Through sobs, Dadi reveals that he fell down the stairs and is now unconscious. Acting quickly, Rishi splashes water on Ayush’s face and manages to revive him. Meanwhile, Malishka brings Neelam to the hall. Wanting answers, Karishma questions Ayush about his fall. In a guilt-ridden state, Harleen apologizes to the Oberoi family for her role in the incident and begs them not to stop talking to her as punishment.
Standing up for her aunt, Neelam asks why they should punish Harleen when she didn’t intend for this to happen. But Harleen brings up their similar treatment of Lakshmi and urges Neelam not to treat her the same way. Ayush reassures Dadi that he is doing well. Virendra assures everyone that no one will be punished for the accident. Karishma nods in agreement. However, Dadi feels that it is not fair to Lakshmi and demands that she either face consequences or be forgiven. Virendra supports Dadi’s opinion. Rishi apologizes to Lakshmi, but she refuses to accept his apology, taking responsibility for her mistake of not holding onto the chandelier. Dadi wants to make sure that everyone has forgiven Lakshmi and she asks Neelam for permission to take care of her. Neelam gives her consent and Lakshmi and Rishi escort her to her room.

Malishka watches this with disappointment while Virendra looks on with a smile before leaving the scene. Ayush acknowledges Dadi’s successful plan and reveals that their conversation was overheard by Malishka who now knows the truth about their scheme. Lakshmi and Rishi escort Neelam to her room. They inquire about her needs and offer her medicine, with Lakshmi taking charge of administering it. She also offers to give Neelam a hair massage, but Neelam declines. Rishi then requests Lakshmi to accompany him, but she chooses to stay with Neelam instead. After some discussion, Rishi agrees and leaves the room. Fuming with rage, Malishka hurls a pillow. Upon Sonal’s arrival, she questions what caused Malishka’s outburst.
In response, Malishka recounts how Dadi and Ayush foiled her scheme of having Lakshmi forgiven. Spotting himself in the mirror, Ayush boasts about his exceptional acting abilities. Shalu and Bani join them, with Shalu reminding Ayush that he is not an actor. Refusing to back down, Ayush insists on proving his skills by asking Bani to give him a scenario. Bani challenges him to woo Shalu with poetry, leaving Ayush speechless. Lakshmi carefully tucks the blanket over Neelam as she sleeps, while Karishma and Ayush join them. She signals for Karishma to keep quiet so as not to disturb Neelam’s slumber. Ayush expresses his inability to do something, but Bani encourages him to use his acting skills to prove himself.
He then playfully proposes to Shalu, who jokingly responds by pretending to choke him. After releasing Ayush, Shalu asks about Lakshmi’s whereabouts and he explains how their plan helped clear Lakshmi’s name. Meanwhile, Karishma escorts Lakshmi out of Neelam’s room and reprimands her for interfering, calling her crazy. Despite Lakshmi denying it, Karishma continues scolding her until Malishka reveals her true intentions of causing harm to Neelam in order to get rid of Lakshmi. However, their plan is thwarted when Rishi shows up unexpectedly, much to Sonal’s surprise.
