Shalu tells Lakshmi that Rohan’s father will also change and leave when the time comes, just like the other people who changed and left their lives. As seen in the show, Parvati challenges the city boy to jump, and Rohan takes the leap but ends up falling. He screams prompting Lakshmi to rush to his aid. Overwhelmed, Rohan embraces Lakshmi and tears up, forming a connection with her. Curious, Lakshmi inquires about his name. Meanwhile, a peon informs Rishi about a school exchange program, leading him to meet with the principal. During their conversation, the principal receives a call from Rohan’s school principal, informing her of Rishi Oberoi’s visit and his intention to support their school financially. The principal assures Rohan’s principal of Rishi’s comfort and ends the call. Rishi expresses interest in the arrangements, surprising the principal.
She summons Lakshmi to the projector room. Surprised by the sudden turn of events, Rishi observes. Upon hearing the principal’s call, Lakshmi entrusts Parvati with Rishi’s care and hurries off. Rishi leaves upon hearing Lakshmi’s name, despite the principal’s attempt to detain him. Shalu hopes that Parvati might play a role in reuniting her parents.

The principal requests Rishi’s presence while he contemplates the unfortunate loss of Lakshmi. When the teacher returns to Lakshmi, she is told she could have gone to where they were needed. The principal hands Rishi a presentation and presents the slides. While looking at them, Rishi expresses his desire to see the living quarters for the children. The principal relays Mr. Oberoi’s request to view the same location, to which Lakshmi assures she will tidy it up. However, the principal questions her capabilities, but Lakshmi insists on cleaning it herself. In the meantime, Rishi is asked to wait until it is cleaned up. Rohan and Parvati are with each other when Parvati mentions her mother’s dedication to the school. Lakshmi suggests that Rohan take his father around the village while Shalu offers to take care of their tasks.
As Shalu almost trips, the children have a good laugh. Parvati then informs Rohan about their plan and goes to fetch Rishi. Without hesitation, they step outside and Rohan urges Lakshmi to convince his dad. However, Rishi receives a call from Karishma who asks him not to delay and rush back soon. He decides to leave with his son instead of leaving him there. Lakshmi informs Shalu of the cleanliness issues and how they need to be addressed for the comfort of City kids who will be staying there. She assigns the task to Parvati, instructing her not to leave. Parvati complies with a nod. Shalu inquires about the purpose of these preparations, stating their familiarity with people from the city. Parvati asks if anyone knows someone from the city, to which Lakshmi interrupts, reminding them to let elders speak without interference. Parvati explains that it concerns her mother and apologizes for speaking out of turn. Lakshmi reassures her there is no need for an apology as daughters should not touch their elders’ feet. Parvati then excuses herself to take their father outside, referring to him as ‘Dad’.
Shalu asks about Rohan’s father, to which Lakshmi reveals his name as Mr. Oberoi. Shalu expresses her dislike for the Oberoi surname due to Rishi’s past actions towards her sister’s heartbreak. Rishi informs Rohan that he won’t allow her to join him. Responding, Rohan expresses his fondness for Parvati’s mother and requests Rishi to meet her. Curious, Rishi questions if Rohan intends to give in if the girl approves of his father. Just then, Parvati arrives and lovingly calls him Dad, declaring her desire to stay with him. She then apologizes for addressing him as such and invites him to explore the village before returning to school. Rishi grins and consents. As Rohan and Parvati frolic around, he jokingly remarks about possibly falling. In response, Parvati reassures him by pointing out that his sister is by his side and will ensure he doesn’t stumble. While behind the wheel, Rishi is approached by Parvati who requests a halt.
After complying and stepping out of the car, Rishi’s memory of Lakshmi triggers the playing of a song. He compliments her village and she agrees with his sentiment. As they sit on a swing together, Lakshmi expresses her concern that he may have forgotten about her. In response, Rishi reassures her that not a single moment has gone by without him missing her and longing to be near her, admiring her beautiful smile. He pleads for her to stay with him and their heads accidentally collide. To avoid bad luck from a black dog, they repeat the action before Lakshmi runs off. However, upon closer look, it becomes clear to Rishi that it was all just his imagination. Turning his attention back to reality, he sees Rohan and Parvati playing nearby.
