Kavya 1st March 2024 Written Update Incongruous. Badi Amma instructs Kavya to live like a Sanyasini, including sleeping on the floor and eating boiled food. Adi questions how Kavya could comply with such strict rules. Badi Amma then gives Kavya the option to stay at her maternal home if she cannot follow through. Giriraj chimes in, accusing Kavya of only knowing how to send him to jail and claiming she is not capable of living this way. Kavya defends herself, stating that if she had been able to exercise justice, Giriraj would have already been imprisoned. Badi Amma urges Kavya to prove herself as an ideal wife. Adi doubts that Kavya will fulfill these expectations and expresses his thoughts on the matter.
In response, Kavya assures him that she will do what is necessary and doesn’t want anyone pointing fingers at her husband because of her actions. Badi Amma leads Kavya away from the conversation. Anurag praises Giriraj for bringing Badi Amma into the house and predicts that she will soon resign from her IAS position due to Badi Amma’s unpleasant behavior. Giriraj concurs. Upon receiving a mat from Badi Amma, Kavya is instructed to sleep on the floor. Adi questions this command, but Badi Amma replies that if she can do it, so can Kavya. Kavya agrees to sleep on the floor as well.
As Badi Amma exits, Adi asks Kavya why she is complying with such unfair treatment. However, Kavya sees it as a test from Badi Amma and wants to pass it. Both Kavya and Badi Amma sleep on the floor as Adi joins in by sleeping on his own bedroom floor. Through a video call, Adi explains to Kavya that he is also sleeping on the floor out of solidarity with her. While chatting over the phone, Badi Amma interrupts and orders Kavya to stop talking and go to sleep. Despite this interruption, Kavya agrees to end their conversation and go to sleep. Kavya eventually falls asleep after being unable to sleep for some time. At 4 am, Badi Amma wakes her up and tells her to freshen up.
She is then instructed to do Pooja by Badi Amma. Malini offers coffee to Badi Amma but she rejects it, citing that it was made on the gas stove. Badi Amma then uses Kavya’s saree to wipe her hands before Kavya takes it with her. Alka is worried about Badi Amma’s reaction if she finds out the truth about IVF. Adi brings Omi and Alka to meet Badi Amma and explains the situation about their IVF treatment. Badi Amma expresses her disapproval, stating that she will not accept a child who enters this world through unnatural means as a son of the house. She then asks Omi and Alka to leave.
Adi still takes Omi and Alka to the doctor without Badi Amma’s knowledge. Meanwhile, Badi Amma brings Kavya to the storeroom and instructs her to grind whole wheat into Atta for today’s Brahman feast. She explains that only with this specific Atta will they be able to make food for the Brahmans. Furthermore, Badi Amma reminds Kavya not to leave the house before the feast as it is considered inauspicious. Since Kavya is unfamiliar with using a traditional stone grinder, Santu demonstrates how to do it before being asked to leave by Badi Amma.
As Kavya receives an urgent call from her office regarding a crucial development in Navya Bansal’s case, she agrees to meet a reporter who will be leaving for his village in 30 minutes with important evidence.
